Nick Boyle: Joins Baltimore's practice squad
The Ravens signed Boyle to their practice squad Tuesday, Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2 Houston reports.
Boyle was a healthy scratch in back-to-back games before being waived by the Ravens on Saturday. While he hasn't been a major factor in Baltimore's offense recently, his veteran leadership and blocking prowess are certainly strong qualities for a practice-squad tight end.

The 29-year-old looks like he'll continue to dress for the Ravens thanks to his ability to contribute on special teams, but he should work exclusively as a blocker nearly any time he takes the field with the offense.
