Marcus Peters: Gets cut loose
Peters was waived by the Raiders on Monday, Vic Tafur of The Athletic reports.
Peters was benched during the Raiders' loss to the Chiefs on Sunday, and Tafur had previously reported the veteran corner was expected to be let go at some point this week. The Washington product had appeared in all 12 games this season, recording 43 tackles (28 solo), five passes defended and an interception that was returned for a touchdown in Week 8 against the Lions. Tafur also notes the move will save Las Vegas $1.5 million in incentives that Peters was on pace to earn.

Raiders' Marcus Peters: Expected to be let go
Peters is expected to be let go by the Raiders before the team returns from its Week 13 bye, Vic Tafur of The Athletic reports.
Peters has had several instances this season in which his effort was called into question, culminating in Sunday's loss to Kansas City in which he was benched midway through the second quarter. He had an exchange with interim head coach Antonio Pierce and didn't return during the second half. Peters was reportedly almost cut earlier this year, and the team's patience has apparently worn out. The 30-year-old's statistical production is close to what he accomplished with the Ravens last year, as he tallied 43 tackles (28 solo), an interception, a touchdown and five pass defenses over his first 12 appearances with the Raiders. However, he wasn't as effective in pass coverage and missed some tackles in crucial games, so he's expected to part ways with the organization for the final few games of the year. Tyler Hall, Amik Robertson and Jack Jones are candidates to see increased playing time following the Raiders' Week 13 bye.

Raiders' Marcus Peters: Will suit up at Miami
Peters (knee) does not carry an injury designation into Sunday's game at the Dolphins, Travis Wingfield of the Dolphins' official site reports.
Peters was limited at practice all week, but he's apparently healthy enough to play in Week 11. He profiles as the top cornerback for a Raiders team lining up across from Tyreek Hill and Jaylen Waddle on Sunday.

Raiders' Marcus Peters: Limited at practice Wednesday
Peters (knee) logged a limited practice session Wednesday.
Peters hurt his knee against the Giants in Week 9 and posted a DNP/LP/LP practice progression during Week 10 prep, though he was able to suit up this past Sunday against the Jets. The veteran cornerback played every one of Las Vegas' defensive snaps in that contest, but Wednesday's limited practice suggests that he's not yet clear of the knee issue. Peters probably has a good chance to play this coming Sunday versus Miami, though his participation during the remainder of Week 11 prep should determine whether he heads into the weekend with an injury designation.

Raiders' Marcus Peters: Available Sunday
Peters (knee) is active for Sunday's game against the Jets.
Peters suffered a knee injury during the second half of last Sunday's win over the Giants, and he was limited at practice Thursday and Friday before being deemed questionable for the Raiders' Week 10 tilt. However, he'll be able to suit up for the primetime matchup against the Jets.

Raiders' Marcus Peters: Could play Sunday
Peters (knee) is listed as questionable ahead of Sunday's game against the Jets, Vincent Bonsignore of the Las Vegas Review-Journal reports.
The veteran cornerback was able to log limited practice sessions both Thursday and Friday after recording a DNP on Wednesday. If Peters is unable to suit up this Sunday, Jakorian Bennett and Amik Robertson are expected to see an uptick in work in the Raiders' secondary.
