Giants' Odell Beckham: Less usage in Week 2 loss
Beckham played three of the Giants' 58 offensive snaps and did not see a target in Monday's 28-6 loss to the Rams.
Beckham has logged only 14 snaps on offense without recording a target through the first two games of the regular season. Despite the lack of usage, the veteran wide receiver could factor more into the Giants' gameplan moving forward if Malik Nabers were to miss time due to a shoulder injury that he sustained during Monday's loss. The Giants will head back MetLife Stadium to host the Titans on Sunday.

Giants' Odell Beckham: Logs 11 snaps in season opener
Beckham played 11 of New York's 69 offensive snaps and didn't see a target in Sunday's Week 1 win over Dallas.
Beckham's return to the Giants was uneventful, as he didn't have any passes thrown his way during his limited time on the field. Though Beckham's return to New York is a feel-good story, the veteran wideout appears to be no higher than fourth in the team's WR pecking order. Unless that changes, Beckham isn't likely to be an attractive fantasy asset.

Giants' Odell Beckham: Earns spot with Giants
Beckham has earned a spot on the 53-man roster for the Giants, Jordan Raanan of ESPN.com reports.
Beckham rejoined the Giants at the start of June, and although he had to compete for a roster spot he wound up snagging one. Roles still are being sorted behind top wideout Malik Nabers (knee), so it remains to be seen what type of workload Beckham will handle Week 1.

Beckham led the Giants with six targets and finished one receiving yard behind Xavier Gipson's team-leading figure in Friday's preseason finale. It remains to be seen if Beckham has done enough to secure a roster spot with the team that drafted him in the first round back in 2014, though the math looks more favorable for the veteran WR after Calvin Austin's season-ending knee injury moved Beckham up a rung on the depth chart.

Giants' Odell Beckham: Clearer path to making roster sans Austin
Beckham's chances of winning a spot on the Giants' 53-man roster appear to have increased after Calvin Austin (knee) sustained a season-ending ACL tear in Tuesday's practice, Jordan Raanan of ESPN.com reports.
Austin had been projected to play a significant role as the team's top slot receiver, but the Giants now appear likely to lean on a committee of players to fill the void, per Dan Duggan of The Athletic. Though top wideout Malik Nabers (knee) and top tight end Isaiah Likely are among the candidates to see more reps out of the slot, Beckham is also capable of lining up at that spot in addition to playing on the perimeter. Given Beckham's age and poor track record on the health front in recent years, the Giants likely aren't counting on him to serve in anything more than a part-time role if he wins a roster spot, but the loss of Austin nonetheless makes Beckham a more valuable insurance option. Raanan notes that Beckham had been an afterthought for much of the summer while working with the second-team offense, but the 33-year-old wideout turned in one of his best practices Tuesday, hauling in four receptions during live drills.

Giants' Odell Beckham: Set to play in preseason opener
Beckham will play in Saturday's preseason opener against the Vikings, Ryan Dunleavy of the New York Post reports.
It's not a surprise considering Beckham is in a fight for a roster spot after he was listed as a third-string wide receiver on the Giants' initial unofficial depth chart. The 33-year-old is competing with a handful of other veteran wideouts for a couple spots. Beckham has largely been out of the league, injured or ineffective for much of the past two seasons.

Giants' Odell Beckham: Competing for depth role
Beckham is competing for one of the final receiver spots on the Giants' depth chart this summer, Jordan Raanan of ESPN.com reports.
All of Malik Nabers (knee), Darius Slayton (abdomen), Darnell Mooney, Calvin Austin and rookie Malachi Fields are believed to be locks or near-locks to make the 53-man roster, leaving OBJ to compete with the likes of JuJu Smith-Schuster, Isaiah Hodgins, Braxton Berrios and Jalin Hyatt for one or two other spots at the bottom of the depth chart. Beckham is 33 years old and hasn't been a legitimate NFL contributor since the 2023 season with the Ravens. Even if he makes the team, Beckham is not expected to be a fantasy factor in 2026.
