Angelo Blackson: Going to miss time
Blackson (undisclosed) was placed on the Cardinals' practice squad injured list Wednesday.
Blackson was elevated from the practice squad for the team's Week 4 loss to the Commanders, which is likely when he picked up the injury. He'll now be on the sidelines for at least the next four weeks and unable to practice with the team.

Broncos' Angelo Blackson: Finds new home
Blackson signed a one-year contract with the Broncos on Monday, Parker Gabriel of The Denver Post reports.
Blackson will join his sixth NFL squad for his 10th season in the league after playing 11 games for the Jaguars in 2023. The 32-year-old recovered three fumbles last season while recording 13 combined tackles. He'll likely be a depth option for Denver's defensive line.

Ravens' Angelo Blackson: Reaches deal with Baltimore
Blackson and the Ravens agreed on a contract Wednesday, Jonas Shaffer of TheBaltimoreBanner.com reports.
Blackson will head to Baltimore after spending the last two seasons in Chicago, with whom he recorded 65 tackles, 2.5 sacks and an interception over 32 games. The 30-year-old will likely slot in as a depth option behind the likes of Michael Pierce (biceps) and Travis Jones as an interior defensive lineman.

Bears' Angelo Blackson: Inactive in season finale
Blackson ended the season with 22 tackles over 15 games played.
Blackson played nearly 25 snaps per game in a rotational role and posted more than two tackles on just two occasions. Unlike the career year he had with the Bears in 2021, the eight-year veteran posted very similar numbers to what he's produced in four of the last five years. His role and production should remain similar going forward. He's under contract with the team through the 2023 season.

Blackson has played between 28 and 39 snaps in each of Chicago's last six games, but he's only had more than two tackles on one occasion. Although he's the team's starting defensive tackle, his low number of stops makes him a weak IDP option.

Bears' Angelo Blackson: Notches sack in finale
Blackson tallied a sack and a tackle in the Bears' 31-17 Week 18 loss to the Vikings, and he ended the season with 43 tackles and 2.5 sacks.
In his first year with the Bears, who were the fourth team he's played on in his seven-year career, Blackson went from posting about 20 tackles per year to going over the 40 mark as he rotated with Akiem Hicks. He's signed through 2022 with a void year in 2023, and if Hicks leaves in free agency, Blackson could elevate to the No. 1 role, which will boost his IDP potential.

The 28-year-old was with Arizona in 2020 and recorded 24 tackles (15 solo) and 2.5 sacks in 16 games. Blackson should fill a rotational role at defensive end behind starters Akiem Hicks and Mario Edwards as he moves on to the Bears.
