49ers' Ezekiel Ansah: Lands on injured reserve
Ansah (biceps) was placed on injured reserve Saturday, Nick Wagoner of ESPN.com reports.
The 31-year-old was confirmed to have suffered a torn biceps earlier in the week, so it's no surprise he was placed on injured reserve. Ansah is eligible to rejoin the active roster after missing three games, but he'll likely be sidelined for the rest of the season.

49ers' Ezekiel Ansah: Biceps tear confirmed
Ansah has officially been diagnosed with a biceps tear, David Lombardi of The Athletic reports.
This injury will presumably end Ansah's 2020 season. The 49ers are already struggling with depth on the edge, as Nick Bosa (knee) is out for the season and Dee Ford (neck) is on IR.

49ers' Ezekiel Ansah: Biceps tear feared
There are fears that Ansah (arm) suffered a season-ending biceps tear in Sunday's loss to the Eagles, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports.
Ansah will go for an MRI to confirm the diagnosis, so expect clarification on his injury to come Monday. San Francisco's already shorthanded on the edge with Nick Bosa (knee) done for the season and Dee Ford (neck) on IR.

49ers' Ezekiel Ansah: Ruled out with arm injury
Ansah (arm) has been ruled out for the rest of Sunday's game against the Eagles.
Ansah joins a long list of 49ers injuries on both sides of the ball. He'll hope to heal up in time to play against the Dolphins in Week 5.

49ers' Ezekiel Ansah: Officially joins 49ers
The 49ers signed Ansah to a one-year contract on Wednesday.
Ansah joins a San Francisco defensive line that just lost two high-end starters for the season, with Nick Bosa (knee) and Solomon Thomas (knee) both having been placed on IR. The 31-year-old will likely begin his career with the 49ers as a rotational defensive end, but it wouldn't be out of the question for him to earn something more resembling a starting workload as the season progresses.

49ers' Ezekiel Ansah: Will sign with 49ers
Ansah will sign with the 49ers this week, Connor Hughes of The Athletic reports.
This deal is all but finalized, as Ansah just needs to pass the COVID-19 protocols to officially sign with the team. Ansah worked out with the 49ers twice over the last two months, and now the team desperately needs depth at DE following news that Nick Bosa likely tore his ACL and is done for the year. Ansah likely won't be a starter right away after recording just 2.5 sacks over 11 games with the Seahawks last year, but he's in line for a decent workload nonetheless.

Ezekiel Ansah: On Ravens' radar
Ansah is on the Ravens' radar, Joe Schiller of the team's official site reports.
The Ravens could be contemplating bringing the veteran pass rusher in for a workout after he visited with the club last April, but he ultimately decided to sign a one-year deal in Seattle. Although Ansah has massive potential, injuries have held him back in recent seasons, as he has missed 19 games over the past four campaigns. However, if healthy, there's no question Ansah could make a difference on the Ravens' defensive line.

Seahawks' Ezekiel Ansah: Injury-riddled 2019 campaign
Ansah (neck) finished 2019 with 19 tackles, 2.5 sacks, two pass breakups and two forced fumbles over 11 regular-season games.
Ansah missed the first two games while recovering from offseason surgery to repair a torn labrum, another game with an ankle injury, and three contests -- including the divisional-round loss to the Packers -- due to a neck injury. The defensive end is still dealing with the neck concern, but it shouldn't be an issue by the time he becomes a free agent in March. Ansah made $9 million in 2019, so it's unlikely he'll be back with the Seahawks on a similar number in 2020. He turns 31 years old in May.

Seahawks' Ezekiel Ansah: No-go Sunday
Ansah (neck) won't play in Sunday's NFC Divisional matchup against Green Bay.
Ansah failed to suit up in the final two practices of the week, signalling that this news isn't quite surprising. Now that the veteran is officially out, he'll be a huge loss to the defense, and Rasheem Green is expected to replace Ansah in the lineup.
