Brandon McGee: Waived by Lions
McGee was waived by the Lions on Tuesday.
McGee didn't quite survive long enough to be a part of the 75-man roster, while the Lions have four clear top options at cornerback in Darius Slay, Nevin Lawson, Quan Diggs, and Darrin Walls. The team could bring back McGee during the regular season if injuries occur and they need additional depth.

Lions' Brandon McGee: Surfaces in Detroit
McGee signed a contract with the Lions on Tuesday, MLive.com reports.

Johnson Bademosi, Crezdon Butler and Alex Carter figure to join McGee as the primary competition for what may ultimately be one or two roster spots.
