Corey Peters: Hanging up his cleats
Peters announced his retirement from the NFL on Thursday, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports.
Peters played 12 seasons in the NFL after being selected in the third round of the 2010 Draft by the Falcons. The defensive lineman's time in the league also included a stop in Arizona before finishing his career with the Jaguars last season. Over the course of 164 games, the 34-year-old amassed 336 tackles in his career along with nine sacks, three fumble recoveries and an interception.

Jaguars' Corey Peters: Signed to active roster
Jacksonville signed Peters to the active roster Wednesday.
Peters was elevated from the practice squad for Week 5 and made his season debut, recording four tackles across 25 defensive snaps. The veteran defensive tackle has played in 153 career games, including 14 appearances with the Cardinals last season, and figures to garner a solid role along the Jaguars' defensive line moving forward.

Cardinals' Corey Peters: Set to face Seahawks
Peters (shoulder) is active for Sunday's matchup against the Seahawks, Darren Urban of the Cardinals' official site reports.
Peters managed only a limited practice Friday after failing to practice earlier in the week. Even so, he'll be ready for Sunday's matchup and should continue to see a rotational role along Arizona's defensive line. Peters has yet to record more than two tackles in any contest this season.

Peters (shoulder) is questionable for Sunday's game against the Seahawks, Darren Urban of the Cardinals' official site reports.
Peters sat out the first two days of practice this week with a shoulder injury but returned in a limited capacity Friday. If he's unable to play, Zach Kerr would likely take on a starting role.

Peters ended up missing three games because of the virus. His return for Week 9 will be a huge boon to Arizona's defensive line, especially in the running game.
