Texans running back Jonathan Grimes (knee) is active for Sunday's contest against the Buccaneers, Aaron Wilson of the Houston Chronicle reports.
A true game-time call, Grimes built up his reps steadily throughout the week, culminating in a limited practice Friday. However, no member of the Texans' backfield has exerted himself with Arian Foster (groin) out of commission. If he garners enough reps, though, Grimes could make a mark against the Buccaneers, who have allowed the seventh-most rushing yards to running backs this season.
