Patriots running back Shane Vereen posted 60 yards of total offense in his team's 34-9 victory over the Lions in Week 12.
On the opening drive of the third quarter, Vereen came down with a 17-yard reception and on the following play, ripped a 9-yard run -- his longest gains of the day. He carried the ball eight times for 12 yards. He also caught eight of nine targets for 48 yards. He has 353 receiving yards on the year.
The Patriots will face the Packers in Week 13.
