Patriots running back Brandon Bolden, who hurt his knee picking up a first-half blitz, returned in the second half against the Falcons and finished with 17 yards rushing on six carries. He caught his only target, but for minus-5 yards.
Bolden wasn't featured as New England gave a combined 20 carries to Stevan Ridley and LeGarrette Blount. Bolden plays at Cincinnati in Week 5.
