Bengals quarterback Andy Dalton started slowly Sunday night against the Patriots, hitting 6 of 11 throws for 63 yards before halftime. He finished 15 of 24 for 204 yards and two touchdowns with no turnovers.
It was Dalton's first two-touchdown game in four outings this year. He should have had a third score, but tight end Jermaine Gresham dropped a perfect throw in the end zone.
Dalton threw both scoring passes in the third quarter. He hit Mohamed Sanu on a 37-yard post, then A.J. Green made a jugging catch for a 17-yard toucheown.
Dalton faces the Panthers in Week 6.
