Bucks' Johnny Davis: Agrees to deal with Milwaukee
Davis agreed to a deal with the Bucks on Thursday, Michael Scotto of USA Today reports.
The terms of the deal are currently unclear, but this is likely an Exhibit 10 contract for the former lottery pick. As long as the Bucks are at full strength, Davis will likely be cut and sent to the G League.

Johnny Davis: Let go by Memphis
The Grizzlies released Davis on Thursday, Shams Charania of ESPN reports.
Acquired Feb. 6 in a three-team deal involving the Wizards and Kings, Davis never joined the Grizzlies before being cut coming out of the All-Star break. The No. 10 overall pick in the 2022 NBA Draft, Davis has yet to live up to his pedigree, averaging 3.7 points and 1.6 rebounds across only 11.5 minutes per contest over 112 games during his three-year stint with the Wizards. According to Charania, Davis is expected to garner some interest in free agency, and he could end up with a new club before the end of the season.

The 22-year-old's next chance to make his team debut arrives Friday against the Magic, although Davis' absence Thursday is unlikely to impact Memphis' rotation significantly.

Grizzlies' Johnny Davis: Won't play Saturday

Grizzlies' Johnny Davis: Shipped to Memphis
The Wizards traded Davis and Marvin Bagley to the Grizzlies in a multi-team deal that sent Marcus Smart to Washington, Shams Charania of ESPN reports.
Davis has received inconsistent playing time for the Wizards this season, averaging 2.4 points and 1.1 rebounds in 7.1 minutes across 34 appearances. The 22-year-old guard will likely compete for depth minutes in Memphis' backcourt but isn't expected to receive a significant role.

Wizards' Johnny Davis: Good to go Friday
Davis (illness) is listed as available for Friday's game against the Bulls.
Davis will snap a two-game absence streak due to the illness. However, the 22-year-old hasn't carved out a significant role in the club's rotation, and his presence shouldn't affect many fantasy decisions.

Wizards' Johnny Davis: Deemed questionable for Friday
Davis (illness) is listed as questionable for Friday's matchup against the Bulls.
Davis is in jeopardy of missing his third consecutive contest due to a non-COVID illness. However, the 22-year-old hasn't received consistent playing time this season, and his potential absence shouldn't cause any waves in the rotation.

Despite a ton of injuries in Washington, Davis hasn't been able to crack the rotation consistently. His next chance to play comes Friday against the Bulls.

Wizards' Johnny Davis: Muted role continues in loss
Davis registered zero points (0-1 FG, 0-1 3Pt), one rebound and one assist over three minutes during Monday's 123-105 loss to the Thunder.
Davis continues to play a limited role for the Wizards, logging fewer than 10 minutes for the 13th time this season, and he has appeared in only 20 total games. Although he still technically has youth on his side, Davis has failed to make the most of his opportunities.

Wizards' Johnny Davis: Back with NBA club
The Wizards recalled Davis from the G League's Capital City Go-Go on Saturday.
Davis was sent to the G League to play in Friday's game against the College Park Skyhawks and finished with 16 points, two rebounds and one assist over 28 minutes. He's averaging 7.3 minutes in 15 NBA appearances so far this season and will be available as needed for Saturday's matchup with the Nuggets.

Wizards' Johnny Davis: Heads to G League
The Wizards assigned Davis to the G League's Capital City Go-Go on Friday.
Davis has played double-digit minutes only three times for the Wizards this season and hasn't seen the court at all on five occasions. The 2022 No. 10 overall pick has seen his playing time drop in back-to-back seasons after averaging 15.1 minutes per game as a rookie. Davis will likely play a major role for Captial City against College Park on Friday night.

Wizards' Johnny Davis: Shows promise off bench
Davis registered nine points (4-5 FG, 1-2 FT), seven rebounds, one assist and one steal across 18 minutes during Saturday's 118-98 loss to the Heat.
Davis saw a sizable uptick in playing time, though one-third of his points were scored during the last few minutes of the fourth quarter in garbage time. Even so, this performance was a step forward for the former Wisconsin Badger, who had really struggled to get much going through his first three appearances of the year entering Saturday's matchup. Davis is currently buried on the bench behind Jordan Poole, Corey Kispert and Kyshawn George, so it's likely too soon to consider rostering Davis in most leagues.
