Pistons' Cade Cunningham: Powers Pistons to victory
Cunningham registered 30 points (12-24 FG, 1-7 3Pt, 5-5 FT), six rebounds, 10 assists, three steals and three blocks in 36 minutes during Wednesday's 135-116 win over Orlando.
Cunningham was unable to get his shot to fall from beyond the arc, but it didn't stop him from reaching the 30-point threshold and leading Detroit in points, assists, steals and blocks. This was a strong all-around performance from the 24-year-old, who had been held to 12 points and four assists in his last matchup Monday against the Cavs.

Pistons' Cade Cunningham: Tough shooting night in loss
Cunningham produced 12 points (3-14 FG, 1-7 3Pt, 5-6 FT), five rebounds, four assists and one block over 29 minutes during Monday's 116-95 loss to the Cavaliers.
Cunningham was given the green light to suit up Monday after being tagged as probable due to hip and face injuries, but he didn't look quite himself, turning in his worst showing of the young season. He struggled mightily while shooting the ball, barely managing to reach double figures despite hoisting up 14 attempts from the field. Assuming he escaped Monday's matchup without aggravating either of his injuries, he'll have a chance to bounce back Wednesday against Orlando.

Pistons' Cade Cunningham: Cleared to play Monday
Cunningham (face/hip) is available for Monday's game against the Cavaliers.

Pistons' Cade Cunningham: Listed probable for Monday
Cunningham is probable for Monday's game against the Cavaliers with a left hip contusion and a right facial contusion.
Cunningham is a little banged up after logging 38 minutes against Boston on Sunday, but he's expected to play through his minor issues against Cleveland for the second leg of this back-to-back. Cunningham put up 25 points (8-18 FG, 2-5 3Pt, 7-7 FT), three rebounds, eight assists and one block over 38 minutes during Sunday's 119-113 victory.

Pistons' Cade Cunningham: Leading scorer for Detroit in win
Cunningham accumulated a team-high 25 points (8-18 FG, 2-5 3Pt, 7-7 FT), three rebounds, eight assists and one block over 38 minutes during Sunday's 119-113 victory over the Celtics.
Cunningham has one double-double and two near misses through three games to begin the season, and he's scored more than 20 points in all three, with Sunday's 25 being his best total yet. The first overall pick in the 2021 Draft is coming off a career-best 2024-25 campaign, but Cunningham may not have reached his ceiling yet, and his supporting cast with the Pistons continues to improve.

Pistons' Cade Cunningham: Comes close to double-double
Cunningham delivered 21 points (7-16 FG, 3-8 3Pt, 4-5 FT), seven rebounds, nine assists and a block across 39 minutes in Friday's 115-111 win over the Rockets.
Cunningham finished just one assist away from opening the season with back-to-back 20-point double-doubles. The star floor general is making his presence felt as the engine that keeps the Pistons' offense flowing. If there's one area in which he could improve, that's his three-point shooting -- he's made only four of his 14 attempts from beyond the arc so far.

Pistons' Cade Cunningham: Double-doubles in loss
Cunningham recorded 23 points (8-24 FG, 1-6 3Pt, 6-10 FT), seven rebounds, 10 assists and one steal across 34 minutes before fouling out of Wednesday's 115-111 loss to the Bulls.
Cunningham didn't have the most efficient night, but the usage was certainly encouraging. Head coach J.B. Bickerstaff said before the season that he had no interest in reducing Cunningham's sky-high usage rate, and there is even more on his plate offensively in the absence of Jaden Ivey (knee).

Cunningham didn't reach the 20-minute mark but still managed to put up a game-high 26 points by posting a polished shooting line. He also put together a strong effort across the board, leading his squad in both assists and steals. It's clear the star guard is ready for the regular season after tallying 20 or more points in each of his first two preseason matchups.

Pistons' Cade Cunningham: Tallies game-high 20 points
Cunningham accumulated 20 points (8-11 FG, 2-3 3Pt, 2-3 FT), four assists, three rebounds and two steals in 19 minutes during Monday's 128-112 preseason win over the Grizzlies.
Despite a slow start, Cunningham came alive in the second quarter before being rested for the second half. The Pistons overcame the fast-starting Grizzlies, taking control of the game on the back of some inspired play by Cunningham. Coming off a statement campaign during the 2024-25 season, Cunningham will be looking to take Detroit to another level.
