Jazz's Josh Green: Traded to Utah
The Timberwolves traded Green and cash considerations to the Jazz on Friday in exchange for Cody Williams and John Konchar, Shams Charania of ESPN reports.
After being traded from Charlotte to Minnesota as part of the LaMelo Ball trade in June, Green is now set to begin the season with the Jazz. The 25-year-old swingman appeared in 58 regular-season games for the Hornets in 2025-26, averaging 4.3 points, 1.8 rebounds, 0.8 assists and 0.6 steals in 15.7 minutes per contest. He figures to provide wing depth for Utah and will likely compete with Brice Sensabaugh, Josh Okogie and Svi Mykhailiuk for playing time.

Timberwolves' Josh Green: Unlikely to crack rotation
Green's future with Minnesota is uncertain following the team's agreement with Jonathan Kuminga.
Green currently sits near the bottom of the depth chart at both forward positions, and the Timberwolves reportedly need to create additional room below the second-apron hard cap before finalizing Kuminga's contract. Minnesota is expected to explore trades involving Green and could waive and stretch his expiring contract if it can't find a deal, making his eventual landing spot more important than his current place in the Timberwolves' rotation.

Timberwolves' Josh Green: Traded to Minnesota
The Hornets traded LaMelo Ball and Green to Minnesota on Thursday in exchange for Naz Reid, a 2033 unprotected first-round pick, three first-round pick swaps (2028, 2029, 2030) and three second-round picks, Shams Charania of ESPN reports.
Green was likely just used as some additional salary filler in this deal as the Hornets trim their books. Green could carve out a role in Minnesota, but his fantasy appeal is really low. Across 58 regular-season appearances in Charlotte in 2025-26, he averaged 4.3 points and 1.8 rebounds in 15.7 minutes per contest.

Hornets' Josh Green: Scoreless in season-ending loss
Green produced zero points (0-2 FG, 0-2 3Pt) and two rebounds across 10 minutes during Friday's 121-90 Play-In Game loss to the Magic.
Green logged 11 or fewer minutes for a sixth straight game and didn't make much of an impact in his limited run during Charlotte's season-ending loss. The 25-year-old swingman missed the Hornets' first 24 regular-season games after undergoing left shoulder surgery in June and saw his role decline in 2025-26, averaging 4.3 points, 1.8 rebounds, 0.8 assists and 0.6 steals in 15.7 minutes per game across 58 regular-season appearances off the bench. He's under contract for one more season.

Hornets' Josh Green: Muted role continues
Green had three points (1-2 FG, 1-2 3Pt) and two rebounds across seven minutes during Tuesday's 113-102 loss to the Celtics.
Green played no more than seven minutes for the third time in the past four games, having seemingly moved to the fringe of the rotation. Despite a small amount of defensive upside, Green's lack of offensive versatility makes him a non-factor on that end of the floor.

Hornets' Josh Green: Scoreless in 14 minutes
Green provided zero points (0-1 FG, 0-1 3Pt), two rebounds and one steal in 14 minutes during Tuesday's 136-106 win over the Heat.
Green remains miles off the fantasy radar as a very small part of Charlotte's rotation. Over his last seven appearances, he's averaging just 17.0 minutes per contest.

Hornets' Josh Green: Passive again in victory
Green ended with three points (1-4 FG, 1-4 3Pt), three rebounds and one assist across 21 minutes during Tuesday's 103-101 win over Portland.
Green scored no more than six points for the sixth time in the past seven games, continuing to offer very little in terms of tangible production. Although he can be an impactful player, particularly on the defensive end, his efforts rarely translate into fantasy value. In 42 games thus far, he has averaged just 5.0 points and 1.1 three-pointers in 16.8 minutes per contest, leaving him well outside the top-300 players.

Hornets' Josh Green: Scores 12 points off bench
Green notched 12 points (4-6 FG, 2-4 3Pt, 2-2 FT), four rebounds, one assist and two steals over 23 minutes during Sunday's 129-112 victory over the Wizards.
Green has now scored in double figures in back-to-back games for the first time this season. The 25-year-old forward has seen his role slightly increase in February, averaging 18.1 minutes per game after hovering around 15 minutes per contest in December and January. The former Mavericks wing is producing 6.9 points, 1.9 rebounds, 1.4 threes, 1.0 steal and 0.8 assists this month.

Hornets' Josh Green: Season-high four steals
Green produced 14 points (4-4 FG, 3-3 3Pt, 3-3 FT), one rebound, two assists, one block and four steals across 23 minutes during Thursday's 109-99 victory over Houston.
The four steals were a season high for Green, who still hasn't been consistent enough to warrant much attention in the vast majority of fantasy leagues. Green has averaged 5.0 points, 2.2 rebounds, 1.1 assists and 0.7 steals in 16.1 minutes per tilt in his last 10 games.

Hornets' Josh Green: Available Monday
Green (thumb) is available for Monday's game against the Pelicans.
As expected, Green will shake off his probable tag due to a right thumb sprain. The 25-year-old swingman didn't miss a game in January, during which he averaged 3.6 points, 2.2 rebounds and 1.1 assists in 16.0 minutes per tilt across 17 outings.

Hornets' Josh Green: Likely to play Monday
Green is probable for Monday's game against the Pelicans due to a right thumb sprain.
The thumb injury is new for Green, who has been dealing with a left Achilles injury of late, but he will likely be able to play through the former issue Monday. Over his past five appearances, Green is averaging just 4.0 points, 1.8 rebounds and 1.4 assists in 15.6 minutes per contest, and he has failed to score a point in two of his last three games.
