  • Suns' Jordan Goodwin: Goes to locker room

Goodwin (undisclosed) went to the locker room during the second quarter of Game 1 of the Western Conference first-round series against the Thunder on Sunday, Kellan Olson of ArizonaSports.com reports. It's not exactly clear what caused Goodwin to exit Sunday's game, but the team should have an update once he is evaluated by medical staff. Grayson Allen and Haywood Highsmith should see more minutes for as long as Goodwin is out of the game.

  • Suns' Grayson Allen: Game-time decision for Game 1

Allen (hamstring) is considered a game-time decision for Sunday's Game 1 against the Thunder, Brandon Rahbar of DailyThunder.com reports. Allen has missed the Suns' last three games due to a left hamstring injury. He's coming off a career year, averaging 16.5 points, 3.8 assists, 3.0 rebounds, 3.1 threes and 1.4 steals over 28.8 minutes per game during the regular season. That production would need to be replaced by Haywood Highsmith, Royce O'Neale and Ryan Dunn if Allen is unable to play in Game 1.

  • Suns' Haywood Highsmith: Scores five points in return

Highsmith (knee) recorded five points (2-3 FG, 0-1 3Pt, 1-1 FT) in 10 minutes off the bench Sunday in the Suns' 135-103 win over the Thunder. Highsmith made it back to the court for the Suns' regular-season finale after he had been sidelined for each of the previous 12 games while receiving maintenance for his surgically repaired right knee. The veteran forward saw only light action in the contest, but assuming his knee responds well, Highsmith looks like he'll be good to go for the Suns' playoff run. However, because Phoenix was holding out eight rotation players Sunday, Highsmith looks to be in danger of losing out on a spot on the second unit when the Suns host the Trail Blazers on Tuesday in a Play-In Tournament game.

  • Suns' Haywood Highsmith: Questionable to play Sunday

Highsmith (knee) is questionable for Sunday's game against the Thunder. Highsmith has missed the Suns' last 12 games, and while the questionable tag leaves the door open for a return, it wouldn't be surprising if he sits out. Highsmith hasn't played since March 17. He's been limited to just five appearances this season, averaging 6.6 points and 2.6 rebounds per game.

Highsmith (knee) won't play in Thursday's game against the Spurs, Duane Rankin of The Arizona Republic reports. • Suns' Haywood Highsmith: Listed as questionable

Highsmith (knee) is questionable for Tuesday's game against Minnesota. After scoring a season-high 16 points in 19 minutes during Monday's loss to the Celtics, Highsmith might sit out the second leg of Phoenix's back-to-back for right knee injury management. If Highsmith sits out, Ryan Dunn could re-enter the rotation after not playing in either of the last two contests.

  • Suns' Haywood Highsmith: Out another 2-to-3 weeks

The Suns announced Saturday that Highsmith (knee) will be re-evaluated in two to three weeks, Shane Young of the Suns' official site reports. Highsmith has yet to make his season debut after undergoing right knee surgery in August to repair a torn meniscus. He was traded from Miami to Brooklyn shortly thereafter but was ultimately waived by the Nets on Feb. 5. While he has since caught on with the Suns on a multi-year deal and had been taking part in 5-on-5 drills prior to being waived by Brooklyn, he won't be rushed along in his recovery from major surgery. Highsmith could be a valuable role player for Phoenix once he's eventually cleared to play, though the organization is counting on him to contribute more in 2026-27 rather than this season.

  • Suns' Haywood Highsmith: Inks pact with Phoenix

Highsmith agreed to a multi-year deal with the Suns on Saturday, Shams Charania of ESPN reports. While he never saw the court for the Nets before being waived Feb. 5, the 29-year-old forward is considered healthy and was taking part in 5-on-5 drills before being let go, per Michael Scotto of USA Today. In the 2024-25 campaign with the Heat, Highsmith averaged 6.5 points and 3.4 rebounds across 24.6 minutes per game in 74 regular-season appearances (42 starts). His first chance to make his Suns debut will come Thursday against the Spurs.

  • Nets' Haywood Highsmith: Extended absence looming

Highsmith (knee) experienced swelling during rehab recently and will be re-evaluated in eight weeks, Brett Siegel of ClutchPoints.com reports. Highsmith had hoped to be ready for Opening Night, but swelling in his right knee following Aug. 8 surgery has pushed back his return timetable significantly. Traded from the Heat on Aug. 15, the 28-year-old was expected to serve as a veteran depth piece in the frontcourt and will now look to fill that role later in the season once fully healthy.

  • Nets' Haywood Highsmith: Targeting Opening Night

Highsmith (knee) said Tuesday he's hoping to be ready in time for Opening Night, Brian Lewis of the New York Post reports. "Right now I'm six weeks out of surgery, so I'm doing jogging, spot-shooting, movements and workouts," Highsmith said. "Not 100 percent. Light contact. And the plan for me is to be ready for the start of the regular season." After playing a decent-sized role for Miami in 2024-25, his fit in Brooklyn is dicey to say the least, with the team undergoing a rebuild.
