Richards (elbow) is questionable for Wednesday's game against the Pacers.
Richards missed the Bulls' last three games because of a sprained right elbow. If he is ruled out heading into Wednesday's contest, Guerschon Yabusele (ankle), who is also questionable, would be in line to start. However, if both players don't suit up, Leonard Miller would likely start the game in the middle, with rookie Lachlan Olbrich coming in for relief.

Bulls' Nick Richards: Ruled out Friday
Rotowire
Richards (elbow) has been ruled out for Friday's game against the Thunder.
Richards will miss Friday's contest due to a right elbow sprain he sustained in Wednesday's loss to Philadelphia. With the big man unavailable, Guerschon Yabusele will likely get the starting nod at center, while Patrick Williams and Leonard Miller are candidates to see increased playing time. Richards' next opportunity to play will come Saturday in Memphis.

Bulls' Nick Richards: Iffy for Friday
Rotowire
Richards is questionable for Friday's game against Oklahoma City with a sprained right elbow.
Richards is in danger of missing the first leg of this back-to-back set. The Bulls would be down to Lachlan Olbrich and Leonard Miller as their primary options at the center position if Richards is ultimately downgraded to out Friday.

Bulls' Nick Richards: Won't return Wednesday
Rotowire
Richards won't return to Wednesday's game against the 76ers due to a right elbow issue, K.C. Johnson of Chicago Sports Network reports.
The severity of Richards' elbow injury isn't yet known, but with Friday's game in Oklahoma City being the first of a back-to-back set, it could be tough for Richards to return for that one. Patrick Williams started at center for the second half of Wednesday's game, so he could be in line for major minutes if Richards and Jalen Smith (calf) need to skip some games.

Bulls' Nick Richards: Flirts with double-double
Rotowire
Richards closed with 11 points (3-7 FG, 1-2 3Pt, 4-6 FT), eight rebounds and one block in 26 minutes during Monday's 132-124 victory over the Rockets.
Although he was unable to carve out a steady role during his time with the Suns, Richards has taken on a key role in the frontcourt since joining the Bulls. The 28-year-old big man has averaged 10.1 points, 7.6 rebounds and 0.9 blocks in 23.7 minutes per tilt across his last eight games (three starts), shooting 50.8 percent from the floor over that stretch.

Rotowire
Richards will start Thursday's game against the Cavaliers.
With Jalen Smith (calf) unavailable, Richards will get the starting nod in the second leg of this back-to-back set. The big man's lone start with Chicago came in Friday's loss to the Clippers, when he posted 10 points (3-10 FG, 1-3 3Pt, 3-4 FT), eight rebounds, three blocks and one assist over 30 minutes.

Bulls' Nick Richards: Starting Friday
Rotowire
Richards is in the starting lineup for Friday's matchup with the Clippers, Law Murray of The Athletic reports.
Richards will draw his first start in a Bulls uniform, and it'll be Josh Giddey, Tre Jones, Matas Buzelis and Leonard Miller joining Richards in the first unit for Friday's game. The big man is capable of racking up the boards and blocks when given the minutes, so he's on the radar as a potential streamer in deep leagues.

Bulls' Nick Richards: Another strong line
Rotowire
Richards provided 15 points (7-9 FG, 0-1 3Pt, 1-1 FT), four rebounds and one assist over 26 minutes during Thursday's 142-130 loss to the Lakers.
Richards continues to play an expanded role for a Chicago team that is dealing with several injuries. He's been a solid low-end streaming option over his last six games, posting averages of 11.2 points, 9.3 rebounds and 1.0 blocks in 25.7 minutes per contest.

Bulls' Nick Richards: Logs solid result in loss
Rotowire
Richards closed with 10 points (3-8 FG, 0-1 3Pt, 4-7 FT), 11 rebounds, one assist and one block in 21 minutes during Sunday's 126-110 loss to the Kings.
Richards recorded his third double-double of the season, outplaying spot starter Guerschon Yabusele. Jalen Smith (calf) appears to be the heir apparent following Nikola Vucevic's departure, but Richards has years of experience as a starter for Charlotte and Phoenix. He will be used liberally as Smith works back up to 100 percent, but due to his limited workload, Richards is likely outside the realm of fantasy viability at this juncture.

Bulls' Nick Richards: Double-double off bench Tuesday
Rotowire
Richards registered 12 points (6-9 FG, 0-1 3Pt, 0-2 FT), 13 rebounds and one steal over 23 minutes off the bench during Tuesday's 116-108 loss to the Thunder.
The 28-year-old center has only two double-doubles on the season, but they've both come in the last three games. Richards is handling a larger role than expected in the Chicago frontcourt due to injuries, and in 10 games since coming over from Phoenix, he's averaging 9.5 points, 7.5 boards and 0.9 blocks in 21.9 minutes a contest. With Jalen Smith (calf) set to return soon, however, Richards' role will likely shrink.

Bulls' Nick Richards: Decent line off bench
Rotowire
Richards registered 11 points (5-9 FG, 0-1 3Pt, 1-4 FT), seven rebounds, two blocks and one steal across 27 minutes during Sunday's 120-97 victory over the Bucks.
Richards continues to see an expanded role for the Bulls with so many injuries in the frontcourt. Guerschon Yabusele is holding down the fort as the starting center, but Richards is getting enough burn with the second unit to make an impact in deeper fantasy formats.

Bulls' Nick Richards: Nabs first double-double of season
Rotowire
Richards recorded 14 points (4-7 FG, 6-6 FT), 10 rebounds and one assist across 27 minutes during Thursday's 121-112 loss to the Trail Blazers.
Richards provided solid contributions off the bench and secured his first double-double of the 2025-26 campaign in the process. The big man saw an uptick in playing time Thursday with Jalen Smith (calf) sidelined, and that trend should continue with Smith ruled out for at least the next week.

Bulls' Nick Richards: Only 12 minutes in loss
Rotowire
Richards amassed six points (2-2 FG, 2-2 FT), five rebounds and one block in 12 minutes during Thursday's 110-101 loss to Toronto.
With Jalen Smith returning from a calf injury, Richards was limited to just 12 minutes, the fewest he has played since joining the Bulls. While he was able to cobble together some intriguing performances in his first two games for Chicago, his two most recent appearances have been far less inspiring. For now, he should only be rostered in deeper formats.

Bulls' Nick Richards: Impresses in loss
Rotowire
Richards had 12 points (4-7 FG, 0-1 3Pt, 4-6 FT), six rebounds, one assist, two blocks and two steals in 26 minutes during Monday's 123-115 loss to the Nets.
Richards was productive for the second straight game, continuing what has been a strong start to his career in Chicago. With Jalen Smith sidelined due to a calf injury, Richards has assumed the role of backup center behind Guerschon Yabusele. In two games since landing with the Bulls, Richards has averaged 13.5 points, 6.5 rebounds and 3.5 combined steals and blocks in 22.5 minutes per contest. He is worth considering for streaming purposes, at least until Smith is cleared to return.

Bulls' Nick Richards: Ready for Chicago debut
Rotowire
Richards (recently traded) is off the injury report for Saturday's game against Denver.
Richards is set to be available off the bench for his Bulls debut Saturday. The 2020 second-rounder offers Chicago some frontcourt depth, but considering he last appeared Jan. 7 for the Suns, Richards would likely need Jalen Smith (calf) to be out in order to see significant minutes.

Bucks' Nick Richards: Shipped to Milwaukee
Rotowire
The Suns traded Richards and Nigel Hayes-Davis to the Bucks on Thursday in exchange for Cole Anthony and Amir Coffey, Shams Charania of ESPN reports.
Richards fell out of favor in Phoenix, making only one four-minute appearance in January, but will get a fresh start in Milwaukee. He should slot right into the backup role behind Myles Turner, but with Giannis Antetokounmpo (calf) and Bobby Portis (hip) currently banged up, Richards and Turner may see the court together at times. If Richards can't get to Milwaukee in time for Friday's game in Indiana, his next chance to suit up will come Monday in Orlando.
