Hawks' Jonathan Kuminga: Indifferent end to season
Kuminga contributed 11 points (3-7 FG, 1-3 3Pt, 4-6 FT), two rebounds, three assists and one block in 23 minutes during Thursday's 140-89 loss to the Knicks in Game 6 of the first round of the Eastern Conference playoffs.
Kuminga closed the chapter on another disappointing season, undoubtedly raising some questions heading into the 2026-27 campaign. Although the trade from Golden State to Atlanta allowed him to play meaningful basketball, his impact was minimal. In 22 games as a Hawk (including playoffs), Kuminga averaged 12.6 points, 4.8 rebounds and 1.0 three-pointers, leaving him well outside the top 250 in standard fantasy formats.

Hawks' Jonathan Kuminga: Regression hits hard
Kuminga finished with 10 points (3-10 FG, 0-6 3Pt, 4-5 FT) and two rebounds in 25 minutes during Saturday's 114-98 loss to New York in Game 4 of the first round of the Eastern Conference playoffs.
Kuminga was unable to maintain his recent momentum, struggling from the field while adding little in the peripheral columns. At one point, he missed four consecutive shots during the second quarter yet continued to force things at an inappropriate time. The series is now level at 2-2 heading back to New York. The hope for Atlanta is that Kuminga can play more like he did during the two previous games, both of which were victories for the Hawks.

Hawks' Jonathan Kuminga: Provides 21 points off bench
Kuminga supplied 21 points (9-14 FG, 2-4 3Pt, 1-2 FT), four rebounds, one block and one steal in 28 minutes during Thursday's 109-108 victory over New York in Game 3 of the first round of the Eastern Conference playoffs.
Kuminga found success on the offensive end for a second straight appearance. He's scored 40 combined points over that brief stretch, resulting in a pair of victories. This Atlanta squad is clearly dangerous when Kuminga is firing on all cylinders off the bench while CJ McCollum and Jalen Johnson lead the charge with the first unit.

Hawks' Jonathan Kuminga: Pops off bench
Kuminga provided 19 points (7-12 FG, 1-4 3Pt, 4-6 FT), four rebounds, one assist, one block and two steals across 35 minutes during Monday's 107-106 victory over New York in Game 2 of the first round of the Eastern Conference playoffs.
Kuminga nearly matched the output of the New York second unit with 19 points compared to their 20. He's averaging 13.5 points, 4.0 rebounds and 1.0 assists through two postseason games, but he's shooting just 16.7 percent from beyond the arc thus far.

Hawks' Jonathan Kuminga: Muted effort in loss
Kuminga had eight points (3-7 FG, 0-2 3Pt, 2-3 FT), four rebounds and one assist in 27 minutes during Saturday's 113-102 loss to the Knicks in Game 1 of the first round of the Eastern Conference playoffs.
Kuminga failed to produce anything of note, despite playing 27 minutes off the bench. Outside of a couple of encouraging performances, Kuminga has been unable to serve as a key contributor for his new team. For Atlanta to have a chance of upsetting New York, Kuminga is going to have to be more of an all-around contributor.

Hawks' Jonathan Kuminga: Omitted from injury report
Kuminga (knee) isn't listed on the injury report for Saturday's Game 1 against the Knicks.
Kuminga will be available for the start of the postseason after sitting out the regular-season finale. In 16 regular-season appearances with the Hawks, he averaged 12.3 points, 5.3 rebounds, 2.1 assists and 0.9 steals in 22.0 minutes per game.

Hawks' Jonathan Kuminga: Won't play Sunday
Kuminga (knee) has been ruled out for Sunday's game against Miami.
Kuminga will join several other Hawks players on the sidelines for Sunday's regular-season finale. The 2021 first-rounder was acquired by Atlanta from Golden State in early February, and in 13 outings since March 12, Kuminga has averaged 10.2 points, 4.8 rebounds, 1.8 assists, 1.0 threes and 0.7 steals over 21.0 minutes, establishing himself as a key piece to the Hawks' rotation heading into the postseason. Corey Kispert, Zaccharie Risacher, Buddy Hield and Keaton Wallace should all operate in expanded roles against the Heat.

Hawks' Jonathan Kuminga: Questionable for Sunday
Kuminga (knee) is questionable to face the Heat on Sunday.
Kuminga could get hit with a maintenance day for Atlanta's final regular-season game, which would open up minutes for Zaccharie Risacher and Corey Kispert. Check back for another update on Kuminga closer to Sunday's tipoff.

Hawks' Jonathan Kuminga: Provides spark off bench
Kuminga logged 24 points (11-20 FG, 2-7 3Pt, 0-1 FT), six rebounds and three assists over 30 minutes during the Hawks' 122-116 loss to the Cavaliers on Wednesday.
Kuminga gave the Hawks a much-needed scoring boost off the bench during Wednesday's game, particularly after Jalen Johnson and Dyson Daniels both fouled out during the fourth quarter. Kuminga finished as the team's second-leading scorer behind Nickeil Alexander-Walker (25 points), and it was the former's first 20-plus-point performance since March 1 against the Trail Blazers. The Hawks will need more games out of Kuminga like Wednesday's if they wish to be competitive in the Eastern Conference playoffs.

Hawks' Jonathan Kuminga: Offers little in loss
Kuminga had five points (2-6 FG, 0-4 3Pt, 1-2 FT), five rebounds, two assists and one steal over 22 minutes during Monday's 108-105 loss to the Knicks.
Kuminga failed to produce anything of note, although he does appear to have carved out a consistent 20-minute-per-night role for himself. Since arriving in Atlanta, Kuminga has done very little to convince fantasy managers of his value, averaging just 8.5 points, 4.6 rebounds and 1.0 three-pointers in 11 games over the past month.

Hawks' Jonathan Kuminga: Not listed on injury report
Kuminga (knee) is not listed on the injury report for Monday's game against the Celtics.
Kuminga sat out Saturday's win over Sacramento for rest purposes with that game the second in a back-to-back set, but he'll be back in action and should see his usual minutes Monday evening. With Kuminga active, there will be fewer minutes available for Zaccharie Risacher and Corey Kispert.

Hawks' Jonathan Kuminga: Ruled out versus Sacramento
Kuminga (knee) won't play Saturday against Sacramento, according to Brad Rowland of the Locked On Podcast Network.
It's the second half of a back-to-back for Atlanta, so Kuminga's absence shouldn't come as a surprise. Without the former Warrior on the floor, the door is open for Zaccharie Risacher to see more minutes.

Hawks' Jonathan Kuminga: Offers very little in loss
Kuminga accumulated three points (0-5 FG, 0-2 3Pt, 3-4 FT), two rebounds, two assists and one block across 18 minutes during Friday's 109-102 loss to the Celtics.
Kuminga failed to produce anything of note, continuing what has been an underwhelming start to his career in Atlanta. He also continues to deal with knee issues, which have limited him to just 10 games over the past month. During that time, he has averaged just 11.8 points, 6.1 rebounds and 1.2 three-pointers, leaving him well outside the top 200 in standard fantasy leagues.

Hawks' Jonathan Kuminga: Scores 16 points off bench Monday
Kuminga produced 16 points (5-7 FG, 4-6 3Pt, 2-2 FT), five rebounds, three assists and one steal in 20 minutes during Monday's 146-107 win over Memphis.
Kuminga was efficient with his shot and reached the 15-point mark for the second time in his last three appearances. The forward has started in just one of his eight appearances with the Hawks since being traded form the Warriors before the deadline, and his role, along with his inconsistent scoring, limit his fantasy upside considerably.

Hawks' Jonathan Kuminga: Off injury report
Kuminga (knee) is not listed on the injury report ahead of Saturday's game against the Warriors.
Kuminga did not play in Friday's game against the Rockets while managing a knee injury, but the fifth-year pro will be available to play Saturday against the team that selected him in the first round of the 2021 NBA Draft. In six games (one start) with the Hawks, Kuminga is averaging 14.8 points, 7.5 rebounds, 2.7 assists, 1.2 threes and 1.0 steals over 22.7 minutes per game.

Hawks' Jonathan Kuminga: Won't play Friday
Kuminga (knee) has been ruled out for Friday's game in Houston.
Kuminga will hit the sidelines for the first leg of this back-to-back set, but he'll likely be able to get back out there for Saturday's game against the Warriors. Kuminga's absence will open up minutes for Corey Kispert and Zaccharie Risacher.

Hawks' Jonathan Kuminga: Available to play
Kuminga (knee) is available for Wednesday's game in Dallas, Brad Rowland of the Locked On Podcast Network reports.
Kuminga has been in a shooting funk over the past two games, shooting just 2-for-11 from the floor, but maybe he'll be able to get things back on track against a Dallas team that ranks 25th in defensive efficiency. With Kuminga active, Zaccharie Risacher's role in the rotation is less certain.
