  • Pistons' Taurean Prince: Traded to Detroit

The Bucks traded Prince and Gary Harris (groin) to the Pistons on Tuesday in exchange for Caris LeVert and two second-round picks, Shams Charania of ESPN reports.

The Bucks have entered a rebuild after trading Giannis Antetokounmpo (knee) and Bobby Portis to Miami, so they'll send Harris and Prince to the Pistons to acquire LeVert and draft compensation. Prince spent the last two seasons with the Bucks, though he appeared in just 26 regular-season games (seven starts) in 2025-26, as he missed significant time after undergoing surgery to address a herniated disc in his neck Nov. 13. The veteran forward is a career 38.7 percent shooter from beyond the arc and figures to provide wing depth for Detroit.

  • Bucks' Taurean Prince: Picks up player option

Prince exercised his $3.82 million player option Monday for the 2026-27 campaign, Eric Nehm of The Athletic reports.

Prince is set to return to Milwaukee and will serve as a veteran presence for the rebuilding club. The 32-year-old forward appeared in just 26 regular-season games (seven starts) last season, missing significant time after undergoing surgery to address a herniated disc in his neck Nov. 13. He averaged 9.2 points, 3.1 rebounds and 1.8 assists while shooting 43.6 percent from beyond the arc in 23.5 minutes per showing.

  • Bucks' Taurean Prince: Sees 32 minutes in finale

Prince amassed 14 points (5-14 FG, 3-10 3Pt, 1-1 FT), five rebounds, two assists and one steal in 32 minutes during Sunday's 126-106 loss to the 76ers.

A neck injury robbed Prince of a huge chunk of the season, limiting him to 26 regular-season contests. He averaged 23.5 minutes per game to go with 9.2 points, 3.1 rebounds, 1.8 assists, 0.6 steals and 2.3 three-pointers on 45.0 percent shooting from the field. Prince holds a $3.82 million player option for 2026-27.

  • Bucks' Taurean Prince: Puts up 16 points in loss

Prince notched 16 points (6-15 FG, 4-12 3Pt), 11 rebounds, four assists and one block over 37 minutes during Tuesday's 96-90 loss to the Nets.

Prince needed 15 shots to score 16 points, but he continued his strong play and has surpassed the 15-point mark in three straight games, including in five of the Bucks' last seven. Prince is one of several role players who are benefiting from an uptick in playing time in the final days of the regular season. Over that aforementioned seven-game stretch, Prince is averaging 13.6 points, 4.4 rebounds and 3.3 assists per game while shooting 44.2 percent from beyond the arc.

  • Bucks' Taurean Prince: Starting Tuesday

Prince will start Tuesday's game against the Nets.

With Ryan Rollins (hip) joining an extensive list of Bucks players on the inactive list, Prince will get the starting nod in the front end of this back-to-back. The veteran forward has averaged 7.0 points and 3.3 rebounds in 21.7 minutes per contest across three starts this season.

  • Bucks' Taurean Prince: Leads Bucks in blowout loss

Prince amassed 18 points (7-8 FG, 4-5 3Pt), two assists, one block and one steal across 25 minutes off the bench during Friday's 133-101 loss to the Celtics.

With Giannis Antetokounmpo (knee), Kevin Porter (knee), Ryan Rollins (hip) and other Milwaukee players unavailable, Prince wound up being the leading scorer for the shorthanded squad as he tied his season high in points. The veteran wing has scored in double digits in three of his last five games, all with the second unit, and Prince is averaging 12.0 points, 3.4 boards, 3.2 assists, 2.8 threes and 0.8 steals in 28.0 minutes during that span.

  • Bucks' Taurean Prince: Cleared from injury report

Prince (neck) is off the injury report for Friday's game against the Celtics.

After sitting out Wednesday's loss to Houston, Prince is ready to roll for Friday. The veteran swingman has averaged 9.1 points, 3.4 rebounds and 2.1 assists in 24.2 minutes per contest in his last nine games.

  • Bucks' Taurean Prince: Won't play Wednesday

Prince (neck) is out for Wednesday's game against Houston.

The veteran forward will sit out the second leg of this back-to-back set. With this news, AJ Green and Gary Trent are likely to see increased reps.

  • Bucks' Taurean Prince: Season-best effort Sunday

Prince produced 18 points (7-12 FG, 4-7 3Pt), six rebounds, eight assists, one block and two steals over 38 minutes during Sunday's 127-113 loss to the Clippers.

It was easily Prince's finest effort since coming back from midseason neck surgery and perhaps of the entire season, as the 18 points and eight dimes were both season bests. The Bucks were missing each of Ryan Rollins (hip), Kevin Porter (knee), Giannis Antetokounmpo (knee), Bobby Portis (wrist) and Myles Turner (knee) on Sunday, so Prince's usage is going to take a hit once some of those names re-enter the fold.

  • Bucks' Taurean Prince: Headed to bench

Prince will come off the bench for Wednesday's game in Portland.

AJ Green will replace Prince in the first unit for Wednesday's game. As a reserve this season, Prince owns averages of 5.8 points and 1.5 triples per contest.

  • Bucks' Taurean Prince: Offers little despite start

Prince contributed eight points (3-8 FG, 2-6 3Pt), two rebounds and one assist over 22 minutes during Saturday's 108-105 victory over the Suns.

Prince was given the starting nod for just the second time this season, highlighting just how desperate things are in Milwaukee at the moment. Having played seven games since returning from injury, Prince has offered very little on paper. In 18.3 minutes per game during that time, he has averaged just 6.1 points and 1.6 three-pointers.

Prince will come off the bench for Thursday's game in Utah.

  • Bucks' Taurean Prince: Starting Tuesday

Prince will start Tuesday's game against Cleveland.

With Giannis Antetokounmpo (knee) sidelined, Kyle Kuzma will start at power forward while Prince draws the start at small forward. The 31-year-old has appeared in four outings this month, during which he has averaged 5.3 points and 2.0 rebounds in 16.8 minutes per contest.

  • Bucks' Taurean Prince: Plays well in win

Prince notched 13 points (5-7 FG, 3-5 3Pt), two rebounds, two assists and one steal across 22 minutes during Sunday's 134-123 win over the Pacers.

This was a positive step for Prince as he continues to shake off the rust. He had been held scoreless in two of his previous three contests since returning to action March 10. If his minutes continue to trend up, Prince will soon find himself on the fantasy radar in deeper formats.

  • Bucks' Taurean Prince: Struggles in return

Prince produced zero points (0-4 FG, 0-3 3Pt) and three rebounds in 18 minutes during Tuesday's 129-114 loss to the Suns.

This was Prince's first action since he underwent surgery Nov. 13 to address a herniated disc in his neck, and he understandably had some rust. Prince does have a solid path to minutes in Milwaukee, making him worth monitoring in deeper leagues as he ramps up.

  • Bucks' Taurean Prince: Will play Tuesday

Head coach Doc Rivers said Prince (neck) will be available for Tuesday's game against the Suns, Eric Nehm of The Athletic reports.

Prince underwent surgery Nov. 13 to address a herniated disc in his neck and hasn't played since Nov. 4. He's set to return Tuesday, though it wouldn't be surprising to see him operate on a strict minutes restriction following the extended absence. He'll likely compete with Kyle Kuzma and Gary Trent for playing time as he is eased back into action.

  • Bucks' Taurean Prince: Could return Tuesday

Prince (neck) is questionable for Tuesday's game against the Suns, Eric Nehm of The Athletic reports.

The Bucks had previously hinted that Prince may not be able to return for the remainder of the 2025-26 season after undergoing surgery to repair a herniated disc in his neck. However, Prince's questionable tag for Tuesday says otherwise, as it appears he's excelled in his rehab and is nearing a return to game action. If the veteran forward is cleared to play Tuesday, expect Milwaukee to deploy him with caution off the bench after not playing since Nov. 4 against Toronto.
