  • Pistons' Duncan Robinson: Drains five threes in win

Robinson registered 15 points (5-6 FG, 5-6 3Pt), three rebounds, two assists and two steals across 28 minutes during Saturday's 129-116 win over the Bucks. This was Robinson's seventh consecutive game with double-digit points and multiple three-pointers. The sharpshooter also extended his streak of games with at least one steal to eight, showing he's more than just a shooter and making a significant impact on both ends of the court for a red-hot Detroit team.

  • Pistons' Duncan Robinson: Extends steals streak in win

Robinson posted 13 points (4-12 FG, 3-11 3Pt, 2-3 FT), two rebounds, four assists and two steals in 34 minutes during Monday's 127-112 victory over Indiana. Robinson has now logged his sixth straight game with at least one steal, averaging 14.7 points, 3.2 assists, 2.5 rebounds, 1.8 steals and 3.5 threes on a 42.9 percent clip in that span. Robinson has seen increased usage due to major contributors like Cade Cunningham (hip), Tobias Harris (ankle) and Ausar Thompson (ankle) all missing time, and he has taken advantage of the opportunity.

  • Pistons' Duncan Robinson: Tallies season-high 23 points

Robinson amassed 23 points (8-13 FG, 7-10 3Pt), two rebounds, one assist and one steal in 28 minutes before fouling out of Wednesday's 124-113 victory over Chicago. Robinson stepped up for the undermanned Pistons, scoring a season-high 23 points. Detroit was basically without its entire starting five, allowing Robinson to take on more offensive responsibility. It's been a steady start to the season for the sharp-shooter, averaging 12.3 points and 3.0 three-pointers across the first 12 games.

  • Pistons' Duncan Robinson: Hits four threes in win

Robinson produced 17 points (5-11 FG, 4-9 3Pt, 3-3 FT), one rebound, one assist and three steals across 30 minutes before fouling out of Sunday's 111-108 win over the 76ers. Robinson has been elite for the Pistons from beyond the arc, logging eight games with multiple threes made and averaging 2.6 threes on a 40 percent clip. He will look to continue his red-hot shooting from three Monday against the Wizards.

  • Pistons' Duncan Robinson: Pops for 18 against Dallas

Robinson accumulated 18 points (6-11 FG, 3-6 3Pt, 3-3 FT), six rebounds and one assist over 34 minutes during Saturday's 122-110 win over the Mavericks in Mexico City. The 18 points were a season high for Robinson, who is adjusting quickly to his first campaign somewhere other than Miami. After a two-point dud in the Pistons' opener, the 31-year-old forward has drained multiple three-pointers in five straight games, averaging 13.2 points, 3.6 boards, 3.0 threes and 1.4 assists in 31.3 minutes a contest while shooting 46.9 percent from beyond the arc.

  • Pistons' Duncan Robinson: Drills four treys in victory

Robinson tallied 15 points (4-7 FG, 4-6 3Pt, 3-4 FT), five rebounds, one assist and one block over 29 minutes during Wednesday's 135-116 win over the Magic. Robinson did the majority of his scoring from beyond the arc, where he's now gone 12-for-26 in his last four appearances. The sharpshooter took full advantage of his opportunities Wednesday after a pair of sluggish showings, dropping eight points Sunday against Boston and eight points Monday against Cleveland. He should continue to get looks with the starting five with Jaden Ivey (knee) sidelined.

  • Pistons' Duncan Robinson: Vintage performance in win

Robinson produced 17 points (5-9 FG, 4-8 3Pt, 3-3 FT), three rebounds, two assists and three blocks over 38 minutes during Friday's 115-111 win over the Rockets. After a first-up dud, Robinson got back to doing what he does best, landing four triples en route to 17 points. Jaden Ivey continues to deal with a knee injury, allowing Robinson to get his feet wet as a member of the starting lineup. Robinson is worth considering as a three-point streamer, at least until Ivey is back in the fold.

  • Pistons' Duncan Robinson: Flops in team debut

Robinson closed with two points (1-7 FG, 0-5 3Pt) in 32 minutes during Wednesday's 115-111 loss to Chicago. The Pistons needed a replacement in the first unit for Jaden Ivey (knee), and Robinson floundered in his opportunity with the starting group during his Pistons debut. Robinson has some time to solidify his place with the starters until Ivey is cleared, but he may not have a particularly long leash. Isaiah Stewart double-doubled off the bench Wednesday, and Ronald Holland dropped 19 points and a full stat line in the second unit.

  • Pistons' Duncan Robinson: Scores 10 in start

Robinson finished with 10 points (3-8 FG, 3-8 3Pt, 1-1 FT), one assist and one turnover in 21 minutes of Thursday's 119-98 preseason win over the Wizards. Robinson started this contest in the absence of Jaden Ivey (knee), who is expected to miss four weeks of action. Robinson can put up three-pointers in a hurry, and Ivey's injury could open the door for the sharpshooter to see a spike in fantasy value to open the season for anyone needing a boost in that category.

  • Pistons' Duncan Robinson: Scores eight points in start

Robinson tallied eight points (3-8 FG, 1-6 3Pt), three rebounds, three assists and one steal in 24 minutes during Thursday's preseason loss to the Bucks. Robinson made his debut for the Pistons, sliding into the starting lineup. Detroit was without Tobias Harris and Jaden Ivey, providing Robinson with additional responsibilities. At this point in his career, there is very little we don't know about Robinson. He should typically see minutes in the mid to high-20s, providing the Pistons with a reliable scoring threat off the bench.

  • Pistons' Duncan Robinson: Heads to Detroit in sign-and-trade

Robinson has agreed to sign a three-year, $48 million contract with the Pistons as part of a sign-and-trade deal that will send Simone Fontecchio to the Heat, Shams Charania of ESPN reports. After spending the first seven years of his career in Miami, Robinson will head to Detroit to help supply the Pistons with three-point scoring. It remains to be seen if the veteran sharpshooter will handle a starting role with his new team, but he'll likely share the wing minutes with Caris LeVert and Ausar Thompson in any case. Over 74 regular-season contests in 2024-25, Robinson averaged 11.0 points, 2.4 assists, 2.3 rebounds and 2.6 three-pointers on 39.3 percent shooting from deep in 24.1 minutes per game.

  • Duncan Robinson: Exercises early termination option

Robinson exercised his $19.89 million early termination option Sunday, Shams Charania of ESPN reports. Robinson will enter free agency after spending the past seven seasons in Miami. According to Charania, the sharpshooter is expected to continue negotiating a new deal with the Heat, though there remains a possibility he could land elsewhere if an agreement isn't reached. The 31-year-old forward averaged 11.0 points, 2.6 three-pointers, 2.4 assists and 2.3 rebounds while shooting 39.3 percent from three-point range in 74 regular-season appearances (37 starts) during the 2024-25 campaign.

  • Heat's Duncan Robinson: Scoreless in 15 minutes

Robinson closed Monday's 138-83 loss to Cleveland in Game 4 of the first round of the Eastern Conference playoffs with zero points (0-5 FG, 0-5 3Pt, 0-1 FT) and one rebound over 15 minutes. Robinson was used very sparingly in this series with an average of 4.3 points, 1.0 rebounds and 1.0 three-pointers in 15.0 minutes per night. During the regular season, however, Robinson was a key role player, appearing in 74 games and averaging 11.0 points, 2.3 rebounds, 2.4 assists and 2.6 three-pointers in 24.1 minutes.

  • Heat's Duncan Robinson: Not starting Wednesday

Robinson is not in the starting lineup for Wednesday's matchup against the Bulls, Ira Winderman of the South Florida Sun Sentinel reports. Robinson started the final game of the regular season while the regular starters rested, but will return to the bench on Wednesday. Even in a reserve role, he should see minutes in the Heat's crucial Play-In Tournament game. Over his past six appearances, Robinson has averaged 12.0 points while shooting 46.3 percent from beyond the arc in 20.8 minutes per game.

  • Heat's Duncan Robinson: Nails six triples in victory

Robinson ended with 21 points (7-13 FG, 6-12 3Pt, 1-1 FT) and two rebounds over 19 minutes during Friday's 153-104 win over the Pelicans. Robinson continues to be a sparkplug off Miami's bench, as he either scores in bunches or has a minimal impact. This erratic scoring is perfectly demonstrated by his last two outings. In Wednesday's matchup with Chicago, Robinson missed all four of his three-point attempts and scored just two points before making six threes and tallying 21 points against New Orleans.

  • Heat's Duncan Robinson: Pops for team-high 21 in win

Robinson closed with 21 points (7-8 FG, 5-6 3Pt, 2-2 FT), two rebounds, one assist and one block over 26 minutes off the bench during Monday's 117-105 victory over the 76ers. The veteran wing led the Heat in scoring on the night. Robinson has struggled to provide consistent production since mid-March due to back trouble, but he may be getting healthy. Over the last two games (one start), he's gone 9-for-16 from three-point range while averaging 18.5 points in 28.5 minutes.

  • Heat's Duncan Robinson: Reverting back to bench

Robinson won't start in Monday's game against the 76ers, Barry Jackson of the Miami Herald reports. Tyler Herro (thigh) will return from a one-game absence Monday, pushing Robinson to the bench. The 30-year-old has averaged 8.6 points, 2.0 three-pointers, 1.6 rebounds and 1.6 assists across 21.8 minutes per game in his last five outings (three starts).

  • Heat's Duncan Robinson: Gets limited run in return

Robinson (back) tallied six points (2-5 FG, 2-3 3Pt), three rebounds and one steal in 11 minutes Thursday in the Heat's 110-108 loss to the Grizzlies. Robinson made his return after missing the Heat's previous five games due to left sacroiliac joint dysfunction. Even though Miami was without Andrew Wiggins (hamstring), Robinson couldn't crack the starting five in his return, as head coach Erik Spoelstra stuck with Alec Burks and Pelle Larsson as his starting wings. While Robinson could see his playing time increase once the back issue is further in the rearview mirror, the eventual return of Wiggins could make it tough for Robinson to carve out a consistent 20-plus-minute role.
