Knicks' Mikal Bridges: Sharp in preseason victory
Bridges finished with 15 points (6-12 FG, 3-7 3Pt), four rebounds, one assist and three steals in 25 minutes during Thursday's 100-95 preseason win over the Timberwolves.
Bridges avoided an injury scare Thursday. He grabbed his elbow following a hard screen, but he stayed in the game and looked to be in midseason form, particularly from beyond the arc. He's now scored in double figures in each of his first two preseason appearances and has provided some juice on the defensive end as he continues to prepare for the upcoming 2025-26 regular season.

Knicks' Mikal Bridges: Efficient shooting in win
Bridges racked up 10 points (4-4 FG, 2-2 FT), two rebounds, one assist and two blocks across 17 minutes during Saturday's 113-104 win over the 76ers.
Bridges couldn't miss during the team's second preseason game, as he shot 100 percent from the field and the free-throw line. He continues to prove he's an ideal fit for New York and is already playing well under new head coach Mike Brown, even with limited time on the floor.

Knicks' Mikal Bridges: Drops 10 points in win
Bridges finished with 10 points (4-10 FG, 2-5 3Pt, 0-2 FT), one rebound and two steals across 17 minutes during Thursday's 99-84 preseason win over the 76ers.
Bridges and the majority of his team's starters played limited minutes during the preseason opener, with Mitchell Robinson leading the way at 18. Robinson stole the show with 16 rebounds, but Bridges was one of three players on the squad to crack double digits in the scoring column.

Knicks' Mikal Bridges: Agrees to four-year extension
Bridges has agreed to sign a four-year, $150 million contract extension with the Knicks, Shams Charania of ESPN reports.
The deal also includes a player option for the 2029-30 campaign. Bridges has proven to be a durable asset over the years, as he's never missed a single game in his NBA career due to an injury, and he'll remain a key component in New York's lineup for the foreseeable future. Over 82 regular-season outings in 2024-25, the veteran swingman averaged 17.6 points, 3.7 assists, 3.2 rebounds, 0.9 steals and 2.0 three-pointers in 37.0 minutes per game.
