  • Knicks' OG Anunoby: Efficient vs. Atlanta

Anunoby ended with 18 points (6-9 FG, 2-3 3Pt, 4-4 FT), eight rebounds and one steal across 38 minutes during Saturday's 113-102 victory over Atlanta in Game 1 of the first round of the Eastern Conference playoffs. Anunoby didn't have an eye-popping stat line for Saturday's win, but he was effective on the defensive boards and was efficient with the few shots he took to finish as the Knicks' third-leading scorer behind Jalen Brunson (28 points) and Karl-Anthony Towns (25 points). Anunoby may be known more for his defensive prowess, so it's an added bonus for the Knicks when he can produce on the offensive side of the floor and take some pressure of the shoulders of Brunson and Towns.

  • Knicks' Karl-Anthony Towns: Productive in Game 1 victory

Towns accumulated 25 points (6-13 FG, 3-4 3Pt, 10-10 FT), eight rebounds, four assists, three blocks and one steal over 33 minutes during Saturday's 113-102 win over the Hawks in Game 1 of the first round of the Eastern Conference playoffs. Towns was held scoreless in the first quarter but came alive in the second half with 19 points, 11 of which came in the fourth frame. Much of that scoring production came courtesy of the free-throw line, though he was also efficient from three-point range on limited attempts, and he finished as the Knicks' second-leading scorer behind Jalen Brunson (28 points). Towns' shooting splits noticeably dipped this season compared to 2024-25, but the veteran big man still has the capability of having a big performance on any given night, which will be crucial for New York's postseason run.

  • Knicks' Ariel Hukporti: Headed to bench

Hukporti will come off the bench for Saturday's Game 1 against the Hawks, Kevin Chouinard of the Hawks' official site reports. Karl-Anthony Towns (elbow) and Mitchell Robinson (ankle) skipped the Knicks' regular-season finale, but both those guys will be back in action Saturday, which could make it tough for Hukporti to get into the rotation. As a reserve this season, Hukporti has averaged 1.9 points and 2.5 rebounds in 7.8 minutes per game.

  • Knicks' Karl-Anthony Towns: Takes part in practice

Towns (elbow) participated in practice Sunday, Jared Schwartz of the New York Post reports. Towns was held out of Friday's game against Chicago after suffering a right elbow injury, but it appears he's trending in the right direction after practicing Sunday morning. The team should have an official designation for the big man closer to Monday's game in Atlanta.

  • Knicks' Karl-Anthony Towns: Ruled out for Friday

Towns (elbow) won't play Friday versus the Bulls, James L. Edwards III of The Athletic reports. Towns only took a few shots at shootaround before grabbing at his elbow and retreating back to the locker room, so it's not surprising to see him get ruled out for Friday's game. Mitchell Robinson will draw the start in his absence, and for now, Towns should be viewed as questionable for Monday's game in Atlanta.

  • Knicks' Karl-Anthony Towns: Questionable for Friday

Towns is questionable for Friday's game against the Bulls with a right elbow issue. Towns was a late addition to the injury report after the Knicks submitted a clean report the previous day. With the Bulls struggling, the Knicks may be tempted to hold Towns out as a precaution. If he sits, the Knicks could lean more on Mitchell Robinson.

  • Knicks' Karl-Anthony Towns: Triple-doubles in victory

Towns notched 20 points (8-12 FG, 4-5 FT), 11 rebounds, 11 assists and one block across 29 minutes in Wednesday's win over the Grizzlies. With Jalen Brunson (ankle) unavailable for the second leg of this back-to-back set, Towns took advantage of a favorable matchup and recorded his first triple-double of the season. The star big man dished out a game- and season-high 11 assists, matching his career-best mark. He also finished as New York's third-leading scorer, reaching the 20-point threshold for the sixth time over his last eight games. Towns has grabbed double-digit boards in six of those eight games as well.

  • Knicks' Karl-Anthony Towns: Strong on glass in loss

Towns racked up 15 points (5-9 FG, 0-1 3Pt, 5-5 FT), 18 rebounds, two assists and one steal over 34 minutes during Sunday's 111-100 loss to the Thunder. Towns got involved offensively late in the game, but by the time he was doing damage near the rim, it was too late for the Knicks to mount a comeback. Towns continues to leave a mark on both ends of the court, and the 18 boards he grabbed Sunday were his best output in that category since the beginning of February. He has posted 20.6 points and 12.9 rebounds per game in 14 appearances since the beginning of February.

  • Knicks' Karl-Anthony Towns: Another double-double Tuesday

Towns posted 21 points (8-17 FG, 2-6 3Pt, 3-3 FT), 14 rebounds and one assist over 24 minutes during the Knicks' 121-116 win over the Pelicans on Tuesday. Towns' 24 minutes were his fifth-lowest of the season, but the veteran center still led the Knicks in rebounds while finishing tied with OG Anunoby as the team's second-leading scorer behind Jalen Brunson (32 points). Towns has recorded a double-double in five consecutive game and is up to 51 on the season, which is most in the Association. Since March 1, he has averaged 21.7 points, 13.3 rebounds, 2.9 assists, 1.3 threes and 0.8 steals over 29.8 minutes per game.

This was Towns' 49th double-double of the season and the 471st of his career. • Knicks' Karl-Anthony Towns: Downgraded to doubtful

Towns (knee) is doubtful for Friday's game against the Pacers. Towns, who was previously listed as questionable, is trending in the wrong direction for fantasy managers. With New York's starting center likely to sit, Mitchell Robinson should have a lot of appeal as a streaming option.

  • Knicks' Karl-Anthony Towns: Iffy for Friday

Towns is questionable for Friday's game against the Pacers due to bilateral knee soreness. Towns didn't suffer an apparent injury in Wednesday's victory over Utah, so it's possible the Knicks are considering giving the All-Star big man the night off versus an inferior opponent. Mitchell Robinson will likely step into the starting lineup if Towns sits out, which would make the former a viable plug-and-play fantasy option.

Towns (undisclosed) has returned to Wednesday's game against the Jazz. Towns left Wednesday's contest in the first quarter for unknown reasons, but he's been cleared to retake the floor to start the second period. The star big man shouldn't be under any restrictions the rest of the way.

  • Knicks' Karl-Anthony Towns: Huge all-around night in loss

Towns finished with 35 points (13-17 FG, 3-4 3Pt, 6-8 FT), 12 rebounds, seven assists and one block in 36 minutes during Monday's 126-118 loss to the Clippers. Towns appeared to be battling through some sort of lower-body injury heading into halftime, but he started the second half and made a large impact across the board. He scored 30-plus points for the first time since Dec. 27 and now has six double-doubles in six March appearances. Towns, Jalen Brunson and OG Anunoby continue to lead the charge for New York offensively, but the Knicks received only 14 points from their bench Monday, which proved to be too much to overcome.
