  • Nuggets' Nikola Jokic: Flirts with triple-double Thursday

Jokic ended Thursday's 110-98 loss to the Timberwolves in Game 6 of the first round of the Western Conference playoffs with 28 points (11-19 FG, 1-5 3Pt, 5-6 FT), nine rebounds, 10 assists and one block across 43 minutes.

Jokic fell one rebound short of another triple-double, closing out what was another dominant season, both in fantasy and reality. He finished with averages of 27.5 points, 12.9 rebounds, 10.6 assists, 1.7 three-pointers and 2.2 combined steals and blocks across the regular season and playoffs, sitting atop the fantasy ranks yet again. While the individual accolades are seemingly endless, Denver's unceremonious exit can't be overlooked. Jokic will undoubtedly be in the discussion for the No. 1 fantasy pick again next season, although the exact makeup of his supporting cast remains to be seen.

  • Nuggets' Nikola Jokic: Gets back on track

Jokic produced 27 points (9-15 FG, 1-4 3Pt, 8-10 FT), 12 rebounds, 16 assists and two blocks in 38 minutes during Monday's 125-113 win over the Timberwolves in Game 5 of the first round of the Western Conference playoffs.

Jokic was much improved from the field after hitting at a rate of 39.1 percent over the first four games of the series. The 31-year-old also impressed as a playmaker, which helped him record his second triple-double of the first round. The Nuggets will need this version of Jokic to show up again in Game 6 to help extend the series.

  • Nuggets' Nikola Jokic: Ejected in fourth quarter

Jokic was ejected from Saturday's Game 4 loss to the Timberwolves with 1.3 seconds left in the fourth quarter. He finished with 24 points (8-22 FG, 0-3 3Pt, 8-8 FT), 15 rebounds, nine assists, three steals and a block across 41 minutes.

Jokic went straight at Jaden McDaniels after the forward scored a layup in the final seconds when the game was already decided, and the star big man was ejected following a fight that got several players from both teams involved. It remains to be seen if the league will take any disciplinary action toward Jokic ahead of Game 5, which will be played Monday in Denver. From a fantasy perspective, Jokic finished just one assist away from recording what would've been his second triple-double of the series. Even though Jokic has scored at least 24 points in each game, he's been struggling with his shot in the three losses, going 23-for-87 from the floor.

  • Nuggets' Nikola Jokic: Struggles with shot

Jokic posted 27 points (7-26 FG, 2-10 3Pt, 11-11 FT), 15 rebounds, three assists and two steals across 35 minutes during Thursday's 113-96 loss to the Timberwolves in Game 3 of the first round of the Western Conference playoffs.

Although his counting stats were great, Jokic had a nightmare shooting the ball with Rudy Gobert making his life difficult. Through the opening three games, Jokic is averaging 25.3 points on 40.0 percent shooting with 14.3 rebounds, 7.3 assists and 1.0 steals.

  • Nuggets' Nikola Jokic: Just misses triple-double Monday

Jokic chipped in 24 points (8-20 FG, 1-7 3Pt, 7-7 FT), 15 rebounds, eight assists and one block across 40 minutes during Monday's 119-114 loss to the Timberwolves in Game 2 of the first round of the Western Conference playoffs.

The perennial MVP candidate came a couple of dimes short of his 23rd career playoff triple-double, and second straight to begin the Nuggets' postseason run this season. Jokic also completely neutralized Rudy Gobert in this one, as his Minnesota counterpart managed just two points and seven boards in 28 minutes while racking up five fouls. Jokic has eight triple-doubles in his last 12 contests dating back to March 22, and he'll be a threat for another in Game 3 on Thursday.

  • Nuggets' Nikola Jokic: Triple-doubles in Game 1 win

Jokic supplied 25 points (11-19 FG, 2-7 3Pt, 1-1 FT), 13 rebounds, 11 assists and one steal across 40 minutes during Saturday's 116-105 win over Minnesota in Game 1 of the first round of the Western Conference playoffs.

Jokic got off to a slow start, scoring just six points on four shots through the first half of play, but he came alive after halftime and helped the Nuggets open the third quarter with an 18-6 run. "To win a championship, you need the guys to step up at the right moment," Jokic said during a recent interview. "If it is not your night one game, it's OK because the next one is coming soon."
