White Sox's Roch Cholowsky: Won't play again in 2026
Cholowsky is battling right wrist soreness and is being shut down for the remainder of the campaign, James Fegan of SoxMachine.com reports.
Cholowsky last logged game action Aug. 15 and has subsequently been sidelined by the wrist issue. The White Sox are opting to give him time to heal, thus concluding his first professional campaign. After being taken first overall in the 2026 First-Year Player Draft, Cholowsky played in nine games for High-A Winston-Salem, slashing .167/.326/.333 with one home run, three doubles, four runs, 10 RBI, three stolen bases and a 7:9 BB:K.
