  • Giants' Kaeden Kent: Returns from IL on Wednesday

    High-A Eugene reinstated Kent (undisclosed) from the 7-day injured list Wednesday, and he went 0-for-5 in Wednesday's 11-6 loss to Everett. Kent was placed on High-A Hudson Valley's 7-day injured list July 6 before being traded to the Giants on Aug. 3. The 22-year-old shortstop returned to action for Eugene, though he was unable to get on base. Across 360 plate appearances in High-A this season, he's slashing .303/.358/.437 with 56 runs scored, 43 RBI, 20 stolen bases and six long balls.

  • Yankees' Kaeden Kent: Lands on MiLB IL

    Kent was placed on the 7-day injured list Monday due to an undisclosed injury, Conor Foley of YES Network reports. Kent has been seeing the ball well at High-A Hudson Valley, hitting .307 with six home runs, 43 RBI, 20 stolen bases and 56 runs scored over 76 games this season. However, he'll head to the shelf for at least the next week while on the mend from an unknown injury.
