Holliday underwent several examinations after being removed from Single-A Fresno's lineup last week due to a left foot injury. The injury is severe enough to require surgery and will sideline the 19-year-old prospect for the rest of the 2026 season. The Rockies used the fourth overall pick on Holliday in last month's First-Year Player Draft, and he's set to make his organizational debut with the team Tuesday. The Grizzlies have 21 games left in their season, and the 18-year-old Holliday will get a taste of professional ball before the conclusion of the 2025 season.
