The Marlins recalled Gibson from Triple-A Jacksonville on Tuesday. The left-hander has spent the past 10 days at Triple-A but will rejoin the Marlins with Anthony Bender (lower leg) landing on the injured list. • Marlins' Cade Gibson: Sent down to Triple-A

The Marlins optioned Gibson to Triple-A Jacksonville on Friday. Gibson has pitched well overall this season, but he gave up another run Thursday against Atlanta, marking his third straight appearance allowing at least one run. The lefty will be swapped out for a fresh arm in right-hander George Soriano, but Gibson figures to be on the short list to return the next time the Marlins need bullpen reinforcements.

  • Marlins' Cade Gibson: Optioned to Triple-A

The Marlins optioned Gibson to Triple-A Jacksonville on Monday. Gibson made his MLB debut Sunday against the Phillies and pitched 2.1 innings out of the bullpen, allowing just one hit while striking out two and walking none in Miami's 7-5 win. Gibson should find his way back to the Marlins' big club at some point again this season.
