Giants' Dakota Jordan: Shelved at Single-A

Single-A San Jose placed Jordan on its 7-day injured list Aug. 12 due to an unspecified injury. A fourth-round draft pick in 2024, Jordan had been in the midst of an excellent first full season in professional ball before landing on the shelf. The 22-year-old outfielder maintained a .310/.378/.500 slash line with 14 home runs and 27 stolen bases over 410 plate appearances in 87 games with San Jose.
