Angels' Kyle Robinson: Dealt to Halos

The Angels acquired Robinson from the Pirates on Monday in exchange for right-hander Kirby Yates. Robinson will be on the move for the second time this season, after the Pirates previously acquired him from the Athletics in May. The 23-year-old righty has cobbled together a 4.55 ERA, 1.43 WHIP and 78:34 K:BB in 83 innings across stops at the Single-A, High-A and Double-A levels this season. He'll begin his time in the Angels organization at Double-A Rocket City.

Pirates' Kyle Robinson: Shipped to Pirates

The Athletics traded Robinson to the Pirates on Saturday in exchange for Alika Williams. Robinson reached Double-A in 2025 but was sent back to High-A at the start of the 2026 campaign and has posted a 3.62 ERA and 1.37 WHIP alongside a 19:13 K:BB across 27.1 innings. The 22-year-old righty will likely remain at High-A to begin his tenure in the Pirates organization and aim to return to Double-A by the end of the season.
