    Anderson (ankle) has gone 4-for-17 with one home run, one walk, four RBI and three runs in five games for Double-A Chesapeake since being reinstated from the 7-day injured list Tuesday. After completing a six-game rehab assignment at High-A Frederick, Anderson received the green light to rejoin the Chesapeake lineup. The young backstop was on the shelf for just under two months due to a left ankle injury.

  • Orioles' Ethan Anderson: On mend from ankle injury

    Double-A Chesapeake placed Anderson on its 7-day injured list Tuesday due to a left ankle injury, Jacob Calvin Meyer of The Baltimore Sun reports. Anderson sustained the injury Sunday before landing on the IL two days later. The catching prospect had produced a .271/.371/.522 slash line with 17 home runs and five stolen bases across 287 plate appearances for Chesapeake this season before being deactivated.
