  • Rockies' TJ Shook: Sent back to Triple-A

The Rockies optioned Shook to Triple-A Albuquerque on Wednesday. Shook was recalled by the Rockies on Monday and pitched the same night against the Dodgers, allowing one run on two hits and one walk while striking out one batter across two innings. Colorado will shuffle its bullpen again Wednesday, with Shook going back down to the minors and left-hander Mark Manfredi coming up from Albuquerque to replace him. Shook has spent most of the 2026 season in Triple-A, where he has a 3.02 ERA, 1.33 WHIP and a 45:24 K:BB over 47.2 innings.

The Rockies recalled Shook from Triple-A Albuquerque on Monday. Shook made four relief appearances for the Rockies earlier this season, allowing six runs with a 6:3 K:BB over 5.2 innings. The 28-year-old will provide the Colorado bullpen with a fresh arm after the relief corps covered five innings in Sunday's win over the Giants.

  • Rockies' TJ Shook: Demoted to ABQ

The Rockies optioned Shook to Triple-A Albuquerque on Saturday. Shook will lose his place in Colorado's bullpen after giving up four earned runs in two innings during Thursday's loss to the Giants. He owns a 2.89 ERA and 1.19 WHIP through 37.1 Triple-A frames in the hitter-friendly Pacific Coast League, so he could make it back into the Rockies' bullpen down the line if he returns to form at Albuquerque. Jeff Criswell was recalled in a corresponding move.
