  • Mariners' Cal Raleigh: Launches another homer in Game 1

Raleigh went 2-for-4 with a solo home run in Sunday's 3-1 win over the Blue Jays in Game 1 of the ALCS. Raleigh singled in the first inning before he was able to take Kevin Gausman deep in the top of the sixth for a solo shot, knotting the game up at 1-1. The catcher is now batting .400 with two home runs, five RBI and three runs scored over 25 at-bats in six games so far in the playoffs.

  • Mariners' Cal Raleigh: Makes more history with 60th homer

Raleigh went 3-for-5 with two home runs, a double and four RBI in Wednesday's 9-2 win over Colorado. Raleigh has now pushed his homer total up to 60 amid his historic campaign. The All-Star backstop is just the seventh player in history to launch 60 long balls in a single season, and he's inching closer to the American League record of 62 established by Aaron Judge in 2022. The Mariners have four contests left during the regular season for Raleigh to potentially accomplish that feat. He has 11 multi-homer efforts in 2025 to go with 125 RBI, 109 runs scored and 14 stolen bases through 155 outings.

He's up to 58 long balls this year while adding 121 RBI, 107 runs scored, 22 doubles, 14 stolen bases and a .247/.360/.589 slash line over 153 contests. He'll look to continue his hot hitting in a three-game home series versus the Rockies that begins Tuesday.

  • Mariners' Cal Raleigh: Makes history with pair of homers

Raleigh went 3-for-5 with a double, two homers, three RBI and an additional run scored in Tuesday's victory over the Royals. Raleigh spearheaded Tuesday's offensive surge, launching his 55th and 56th homers of the season. The first, a solo shot in the third inning, moved him past Mickey Mantle for the most home runs in a single season by a switch hitter, while the second, a two-run blast in the fourth, tied Ken Griffey Jr. for the Mariners' single-season record. The catcher is heating up at the right time, carrying a 1.124 OPS with three doubles, six homers and 11 RBI across 14 September games as Seattle pushes for the playoffs.

That's the most in a single season by a catcher, and impressively, he still has more than a month left to add to his total. Raleigh has smacked seven homers over his last 21 games, and he's still leading the majors in long balls. The 28-year-old has added a .247/.353/.593 slash line with 106 RBI, 85 runs scored, 14 stolen bases and 19 doubles through 128 contests.

  • Mariners' Cal Raleigh: Plays hero in Friday's win

Raleigh went 1-for-4 with a three-run home run in Friday's 3-2 win over the Rays. With the Mariners down 2-0 in the eighth inning, Raleigh got hold of a Griffin Jax sweeper and launched it to right-center field for the game-winning homer. It was Raleigh's 43rd long ball of the year, as he marches closer to toppling Salvador Perez's MLB record of 48 homers in a season set in 2021. Raleigh's overall offensive output has slipped since the All-Star break, however, and over his last 20 games he is slashing .198/.253/.383 with 11 RBI.

He went 5-for-18 over this four-game series versus the Angels. The catcher is up to a .986 OPS, 41 homers and 86 RBI through 103 contests this season as he continues to aim for historic numbers.

He's got two months to work with to surpass Salvador Perez's record 48 homers by a catcher in a season. • Mariners' Cal Raleigh: Makes more history Tuesday

Raleigh went 1-for-3 with a walk and a two-run home run in Tuesday's 10-3 loss to the Yankees. The All-Star backstop saw Aaron Judge close to within one of him for the major-league home run lead in the seventh inning, but Raleigh answered back in the eighth by taking Geoff Hartlieb deep. In the process, Raleigh set a new Seattle franchise record with 36 homers before the All-Star break, eclipsing a mark set by Ken Griffey Jr. in 1998. Improbably, Barry Bonds' MLB record of 39 is within his sights, as Raleigh has two more contests to aim for the short porch at Yankee Stadium, plus a three-game set in Detroit, before the break.

  • Mariners' Cal Raleigh: Takes one out Monday

Raleigh went 1-for-3 with a solo home run and an additional RBI in Monday's 6-2 win over the Royals. Raleigh didn't get a whole lot of chances to swing in the latter half of the Mariners' recent 10-game road trip. He clubbed five homers over the first four games of the trip, then went 5-for-21 with eight walks over the remaining six contests. The Royals didn't shy away from pitching to Raleigh, and he made them pay, first with a sacrifice fly in the fifth inning and then a solo shot in the seventh. Even with the brief power drought recently, Raleigh still leads the majors with 33 homers, three ahead of the Yankees' Aaron Judge. Raleigh has added a career-best .276/.387/.649 slash line while supplying 71 RBI, 60 runs scored, nine stolen bases and 16 doubles over 83 contests. Raleigh went 3-for-4 with a home run, a double, six RBI, an additional run scored and a stolen base in Tuesday's 8-0 win over Boston. After smashing a career-high 34 long balls a year ago, Raleigh is well on pace to shatter that figure this season.
