Stewart went 2-for-3 with two walks, a home run, three RBI and a stolen base in the first game of Tuesday's doubleheader against the Guardians.
The 22-year-old got the Reds on the board with a solo shot off Slade Cecconi in the third inning before driving in two more runs in the fourth with a single. The steal was Stewart's first since June 16 and his 12th of the season, but he's gone yard three times in the last eight contests to reach 22 on the year. After going 0-for-3 in the nightcap, Stewart sports a .254/.332/.475 slash line through 106 contests with 56 runs and 79 RBI.

It was the second career game with multiple homers for Stewart, who piled up at least three RBI for the sixth time this year. The slugging infielder has hit safely in 12 of his last 13 games as well. Stewart has delivered a breakout first half as a first-time All-Star in 2026, slashing 256/.341/.481 with 19 long balls, 64 RBI, 11 stolen bases and 50 runs scored across 396 plate appearances.

After Cincinnati opened the game with back-to-back walks, Stewart quickly capitalized by launching a three-run homer off Kodai Senga to give the Reds an early lead. He wasn't done there, adding an RBI single in the fifth inning to cap off a four-RBI performance. The long ball was Stewart's 14th of the season. The outburst was encouraging given his recent struggles, as he entered Tuesday batting just .184 with a .584 OPS in June. On the year, Stewart is slashing .252/.350/.456 with 13 doubles, 46 RBI, 39 runs scored and 11 stolen bases across 72 games.
