Barnes allowed just one hit through his first four innings on Saturday but failed to record an out in a brutal top of the fifth. After sitting in the dugout for an eternity while Brewers' starter Adrian Houser had his own issues, Barnes allowed the first four batters he faced in the frame to reach on a walk and three singles before getting the hook. While giving up three earned runs in four innings is nobody's idea of a dream start, the left-hander didn't allow an extra-base hit.
