The Orioles claimed Walker off waivers from the Phillies on Thursday.
Walker made three appearances at the big-league level earlier this season with the Blue Jays, allowing four runs with an 8:2 K:BB over five innings. He spent all of his time in the Phillies organization at the Triple-A level, and that's where he'll remain with the Orioles.

The Phillies designated Walker for assignment Tuesday.
The left-hander has been at Triple-A Lehigh Valley since being acquired from the Blue Jays in May, but Walker will lose his place on the Phillies' 40-man roster without getting a look in the majors. He made 23 relief appearances at Lehigh Valley and had a 4.50 ERA, 1.42 WHIP and 22:12 K:BB across 26 innings.

Walker was traded from the Blue Jays to the Phillies on Thursday in exchange for cash considerations, Scott Lauber of The Philadelphia Inquirer reports.
Walker was designated for assignment by the Blue Jays on Sunday after allowing four earned runs across five frames in three appearances with the big-league club. He'll be added to the Phillies' 40-man roster but was optioned to Triple-A Lehigh Valley.

Blue Jays' Josh Walker: Removed from 40-man roster
The Blue Jays designated Walker for assignment Sunday.
The lefty reliever will give up his spot on the 40-man roster to catcher Ali Sanchez, whose contract was selected from Triple-A Buffalo on Sunday. Walker made three appearances out of the Toronto bullpen earlier this season but has otherwise spent the entire campaign at Buffalo, where he's compiled a 7.20 ERA, 2.10 WHIP and 16:7 K:BB across 10 innings.

Walker will give manager John Schneider a fresh relief arm after the bullpen had to cover 7.1 innings in Sunday's loss to the Mariners. The left-hander has posted a 6.45 ERA and 23:12 K:BB over 22.1 frames at the big-league level across the previous two seasons.

The Blue Jays optioned Walker to Triple-A Buffalo on Thursday.
Walker signed a one-year deal with the Blue Jays in December. He entered spring training with a chance to secure a bullpen spot in Toronto, but he will begin his season in Buffalo. The southpaw posted a 3.86 ERA and 1.14 WHIP across eight innings in Grapefruit League play before being optioned.
