Orioles' Rodolfo Martinez: Cut loose by Orioles

Martinez (undisclosed) was released by Baltimore on Sept. 4. Martinez appeared in 16 games at Triple-A Norfolk this season, recording a 4.96 ERA and 1.99 WHIP with 21 strikeouts across 16.1 innings. He missed a good chunk of the season while on the mend from an undisclosed injury and hadn't yet returned from a rehab assignment before being handed his release.
