  • Giants' Brett Cumberland: Signs with Giants

    Cumberland signed a minor-league contract with the Giants on Saturday. A second-round pick by Atlanta in 2016, Cumberland was traded to Baltimore in 2018. While he was unable to get past Triple-A in the Orioles organization, Cumberland is still only 27 years old and will get to start anew with the Giants, likely at Sacramento in the hitter-friendly Pacific Coast League to begin 2023.
