Diamondbacks' Brad Goldberg: Traded to Diamondbacks
The White Sox traded Goldberg to the Diamondbacks on Sunday in exchange for cash, Zach Buchanan of The Athletic Arizona reports.
Goldberg spent the first month of his 2018 season with Double-A Birmingham, where he posted a 2.82 ERA over 22.1 innings of relief. The 28-year-old allowed 11 runs over 11 relief appearances for the White Sox last season. He'll function as bullpen depth for the Diamondbacks in the upper levels of the minors.

Brad Goldberg: Outrighted to Triple-A Charlotte
Goldberg was outrighted from the White Sox's 40-man roster Wednesday.
Goldberg made just 11 appearances with the White Sox this season, and struggled to an 8.25 ERA with a 2.33 WHIP over 12 innings of relief work. He's been a consistent presence while moving up the minor-league ladder in recent years, but hasn't been able to succeed at the highest stage at this point in his career. For the time being, he remains with the team as a non-roster player.

White Sox's Brad Goldberg: Optioned to Triple-A
Goldberg was optioned to Triple-A Charlotte following Monday's doubleheader.
Goldberg had a four-out scoreless appearance in the conclusion of Monday's doubleheader, but he still exits the clubs with an 8.25 ERA over 12 innings of work. He had a horrid 3:14 K:BB -- no, that's not backwards -- in his 11 appearances, so he clearly needs to fix his control issues before he has any chance of sticking in the majors for the long term.

White Sox's Brad Goldberg: Promoted to big-league club
The White Sox recalled Goldberg from Triple-A Charlotte on Wednesday, MLB.com reports.
After dealing away relievers David Robertson and Tommy Kahnle to the Yankees as part of a blockbuster deal Tuesday, Goldberg will move up to the big club to help fortify the bullpen. The right-hander was lit up for four runs in one third of an inning in his MLB debut earlier this season and will likely be ticketed for low-leverage work in his second stint with the White Sox.

White Sox's Brad Goldberg: Sent back to Triple-A
Goldberg was optioned to Triple-A Charlotte on Thursday, Dan Hayes of CSN Chicago reports.
The right-handed reliever was lit up in his lone relief appearance during his stint with the White Sox, surrendering four earned runs while recording just one out against the Tigers. Goldberg will now head back to Triple-A, where he owns a 1.99 ERA with 22 strikeouts over 22.2 innings. The White Sox will announce a corresponding move prior to Friday's series opener against the Indians.

White Sox's Brad Goldberg: Recalled from Triple-A
Goldberg was recalled from Triple-A Charlotte on Saturday.
With Michael Ynoa (hip flexor) landing on the 10-day DL, Goldberg was called up to add some depth to a depleted bullpen. He should serve in low-leverage situations.

White Sox's Brad Goldberg: Heads back to minors
Goldberg was optioned to Triple-A Charlotte on Wednesday.
The 27-year-old flew up the organizational ladder last season, and despite the strong showing during spring training and an appearance in the World Baseball Classic for Team Israel, Goldberg will head back to the minors for more seasoning. The right-hander's stuff alone isn't all that impressive, but he still manages to get batters out fairly consistently, which could land him a job in the Windy City if he keeps it up at Charlotte.
