Todd Rosiak@Todd_Rosiak18H agoAnd now Jackson Chourio makes a rolling grab in short left field on a sinking liner off the bat of Seiya Suzuki to close a thriller of a 4-3 win for the Brewers. Milwaukee essentially drops its magic number to clinch the Central Division to nine by clinching the season series. -
Adam McCalvy@AdamMcCalvy18H agoJackson Chourio made a sliding catch in left field to finish the Brewers' 4-3 win over the Cubs. They win the game and, even bigger, clinch the season series with Chicago. Eight games up in the NL Central with 17 to go. -
The Brewer Nation@BrewerNation18H ago#Brewers Win! Final: 4-3! W: Uribe (5-2) S: Megill (27) Another come-from-behind victory as the Crew secured the season series (and tiebreaker, should it be necessary) from the Cubs. Timely hits, bullpen escapes, and a clutch catch by Luis Lara in the 9th add up to the W. -
Todd Rosiak@Todd_Rosiak18H agoWhat an answer by the Brewers. Matthew Boyd was shoving through 7 IP, then walks Garrett Mitchell and Joey Ortiz doubles to start the eighth. Craig Counsell inserts Ryan Zeferjahn, and Jackson Chourio drives in both runners with a single to right for the 3-2 lead. -
Adam McCalvy@AdamMcCalvy20H agoRobert Gasser and the Brewers have blinked first. Pedro Ramirez's two-out homer gave the Cubs a 1-0 lead and then Gasser hit PCA with a 1-2 pitch. Chris Hook is out for a mound visit. -
