The St. Paul Pioneer Press reports that Twins infielder Doug Bernier will have arthroscopic surgery on his right elbow Monday. He is having the minor procedure done to have bone chips removed.
An MRI done earlier this month revealed inflammation in the elbow. Bernier was limited to 10 plate appearances in September, and he was 12 for 53 (.226) this season.
