Rangers' Doug Bernier: Re-signs with Rangers on minor league deal

Bernier signed a minor league contract with the Rangers on Friday.

Bernier slashed .275/.350/.411 with 10 home runs at Triple-A Round Rock last season, but at age 36, he offers little upside going forward. He'll likely act as organizational infield depth.
