The Twins selected of the contract of infielder Doug Bernier from Triple-A Rochester Sunday. Bernier is making his first stint with the Twins after batting .295 in 92 games for Rochester.
Bernier hasn't appeared in the majors since playing in two games for the Rockies in 2008.
