Rangers' Cole Beaudoin: Returning to Wolf Pack
Beaudoin was sent back to AHL Hartford on Saturday, per Vince Z. Mercogliano of The Athletic.
Beaudoin logged two appearances for the Rangers before he was sent back to Hartford on Saturday. The 20-year-old Beaudoin will likely see more playing time with the Rangers later in the 2026-27 regular season, but until then, he'll look to build upon the goal and four assists he posted across two games with AHL Hartford before his call up.

Rangers' Joonas Korpisalo: Out for another four weeks
Korpisalo (lower body) will miss at least four more weeks, per Elliotte Friedman of Sportsnet on Saturday.
Korpisalo has already missed the first six games of the season and remains on injured reserve. Igor Shesterkin G | NYR
Rangers' Igor Shesterkin: Done for season
Shesterkin (lower body) will be out for the remainder of the 2026-27 season, according to Tom Gulitti of NHL.com on Saturday.
Shesterkin sustained a lower-body injury in Friday's 3-1 loss to Washington. He had to be helped off the ice after his leg bent awkwardly underneath him as he fell in the crease. Shesterkin had a 3-1-0 record with a 1.79 GAA and a .927 save percentage in five appearances this campaign. Joonas Korpisalo (lower body) is still at least four weeks from returning, so the Rangers will lean on Dylan Garand and Spencer Martin (lower body), who is expected to be recalled from AHL Hartford.

Nikita Grebenkin RW | PHI
Flyers' Nikita Grebenkin: Undergoes successful surgery
Grebenkin (back) underwent successful surgery and is expected to miss at least four months.
Grebenkin's upper-body injury has been revealed to be an issue with his back, which he has successfully had repaired. The 23-year-old winger is expected to miss the majority of the 2026-27 campaign, but his current timeline for return, barring any setbacks, projects him back sometime after the All-Star break in mid-February. When he does return, Grebenkin will look to build off a positive rookie campaign, where he compiled four goals, 14 points, 32 shots on net, 86 hits and 17 blocked shots across 55 regular-season outings in 2025-26.

Rasmus Ristolainen D | PHI
Flyers' Rasmus Ristolainen: Headed to IR
Ristolainen (undisclosed) was placed on injured reserve by the Flyers on Saturday.
Ristolainen's move to IR was designated retroactive to Oct. 3. Therefore, that could indicate that he was placed on injured reserve to free up a roster spot amidst the Flyers' handful of other injured players. The 31-year-old Ristolainen has a goal, four shots on net, four hits and seven blocked shots across three appearances to begin the 2026-27 campaign. He's technically eligible to return as early as Sunday's clash with the Hurricanes, but if he can't go, Ristolainen's next chance to be activated is ahead of Tuesday's game against Seattle.

Flyers' Travis Konecny: Won't play Saturday
Konecny (lower body) has been deemed day-to-day and will miss Saturday's road clash against the Bruins.
Konecny is set to miss at least one game with a lower-body issue. The 29-year-old winger was off to a solid start to the 2026-27 campaign, where he had compiled three assists, eight shots on net, 11 hits and four blocked shots across five outings. In his absence, Carl Gundstrom is the likely candidate to replace him in the team's middle six. Konecny's status will be monitored closely ahead of Philadelphia's clash with the Hurricanes on Sunday.
