  • Golden Knights' Lukas Cormier: Pots pair for Henderson

Cormier scored twice in AHL Henderson's 4-1 win over Ontario on Wednesday

Cormier picked up his first two points of the season in this performance. The 24-year-old got a late start after opening the season on the injured non-roster list due to an undisclosed issue. Cormier will serve as organizational depth in the AHL for most or all of the campaign, though he impressed with 47 points over 49 regular-season outings last year for the Silver Knights.

  • Josh Manson D | COL

Avalanche's Josh Manson: Will miss time

Manson (lower body) is set to miss time with the injury he sustained Wednesday versus the Devils, Jesse Montano of Guerilla Sports reports.

Noah Juulsen is expected to fill Manson's place in the lineup. A clearer timeline should emerge as Manson undergoes further testing, but it wouldn't be surprising if he landed on injured reserve.

  • Trent Miner G | COL

Avalanche's Trent Miner: Posts shutout in AHL

Miner recorded a 27-save shutout in AHL Colorado's 3-0 win over Charlotte on Wednesday.

This was Miner's second game in the AHL, as he's slipped behind Ilya Nabokov on the depth chart for the Eagles. Miner has gone 1-1-0 with four goals allowed on 61 shots. He'd likely still get the call-up if the Avalanche need extra goalie depth at the NHL level, due to his experience.

  • Tyson Jost C | NSH

Predators' Tyson Jost: Pots pair for Milwaukee

Jost scored twice in AHL Milwaukee's 3-0 win over Manitoba on Wednesday.

Jost netted his first two goals of the season in this contest. He has five points over eight outings. Jost signed a two-way deal at the end of the preseason after attending Nashville's camp on a tryout agreement. He'll be a veteran call-up option if injuries arise for the big club.

  • Predators' Matt Murray: Logs shutout in AHL

Murray posted a 37-save shutout in AHL Milwaukee's 3-0 win over Manitoba on Wednesday.

Murray has won all four of his starts in the AHL this season. He's allowed just four goals on 115 shots in those games. Murray provides some quality as an organizational No. 3 goalie, but his time in the NHL will only come when Juuse Saros or Justus Annunen is dealing with an issue.

  • Josh Manson D | COL

Avalanche's Josh Manson: Suffers lower-body injury

Manson (lower body) won't return to Wednesday's game versus the Devils.

Manson left the contest favoring his left leg. The defenseman can be considered day-to-day until more information is provided. If Manson doesn't play Saturday versus the Flames, look for Noah Juulsen to enter the lineup.

  • Lynden Lakovic LW | WAS

Capitals' Lynden Lakovic: Collects three points in AHL win

Lakovic scored a goal and added two assists in AHL Hershey's 3-2 win over Rochester on Wednesday.

Lakovic is one of the beneficiaries of the rule change that allows 19-year-old first-round picks join the AHL early. The winger had his first AHL multi-point effort of the year Wednesday. He's hardly struggling in the professional ranks, logging three goals, five assists and 24 shots on net over eight games to start the year.

  • Flames' Brennan Othmann: Hurt in first period Wednesday

Othmann (upper body) was injured in Wednesday's game versus the Oilers.

Othmann came away from a fight a little worse for wear. The 23-year-old winger was playing in his fifth straight game, though he's not a lock to remain in the lineup even if he recovers from this injury quickly. Maxim Tsyplakov would likely replace Othmann if the latter can't suit up Friday versus the Kraken.

  • Devin Cooley G | CGY

Flames' Devin Cooley: Exits Wednesday's game

Cooley (lower body) won't return to Wednesday's game versus the Oilers.

Cooley got banged up on a collision with Colton Dach in the first period, and the Flames' goalie didn't return for the second frame. The 29-year-old has been rolling lately, so this injury comes at an awful time. He stopped eight of nine shots prior to his exit. If he's not healthy for Friday's game versus the Kraken, expect the Flames to call up a goalie from AHL Calgary.

  • Kraken's Philipp Grubauer: Tending twine Wednesday

Grubauer will tend the home goal versus the Maple Leafs on Wednesday, per Circling Seattle Sports.

Grubauer will get back between the pipes after resting versus the Wild on Saturday. Joey Daccord has struggled to get on track this season, with Grubauer overtaking him for the No. 1 job between the pipes in Seattle. Grubauer has won four of his last five starts despite allowing 15 goals in that span.
