Keegan Kolesar RW | DET
Red Wings' Keegan Kolesar: Nets first goal for new team
Kolesar scored a goal on two shots and added three hits in Saturday's 5-4 loss to the Blues.
The tally was Kolesar's first goal and point as a Red Wing after an offseason trade saw him shipped out of Vegas. The 29-year-old has held firm in a fourth-line role to open 2026-27, though the weaker supporting cast in Detroit is likely a factor in his slow start. He's added six shots on net, 41 hits, 20 PIM and 13 blocked shots through 14 appearances.

Emmitt Finnie C | DET
Red Wings' Emmitt Finnie: Buries power-play tally
Finnie scored a power-play goal on five shots, added two PIM and went minus-2 in Saturday's 5-4 loss to the Blues.
Finnie is poised to get the first chance to be the Red Wings' new top-line center now that the team's relationship with the disgruntled Dylan Larkin (suspension) is beyond repair. Finnie has stepped up well this season with a larger role, showing that last year's surprise breakout wasn't a fluke. The 21-year-old is at six goals, four assists, 33 shots on net, 17 hits, eight blocked shots, four PIM and a plus-8 rating across 14 appearances. Finnie is a strong fantasy target as long as he's thriving in between wingers Alex DeBrincat and Viktor Arvidsson.

J.T. Compher LW | DET
Red Wings' J.T. Compher: Pots goal in loss
Compher scored a goal and went minus-2 in Saturday's 5-4 loss to the Blues.
Compher has done well since he recovered from an undisclosed injury. He's earned all four of his points over five contests since his return. The 31-year-old is occupying a third-line role, though he could get into the top six for Andrew Copp if the Red Wings mix up their lines. Compher has added 10 shots on net and a minus-1 rating over seven outings, though his lack of power-play time makes it unlikely he'll sustain his current pace on offense.

Alexei Toropchenko RW | STL
Blues' Alexey Toropchenko: First point since return
Toropchenko registed an assist and three hits in Saturday's 5-4 win over the Red Wings.
This was Toropchenko's first point of the season. He's played in three games since he returned from the upper-body injury that he sustained in the Blues' season opener. The fourth-liner has added two shots on net, nine hits and two blocked shots over four contests this season, production far short of making him a reliable option in fantasy.

Dalibor Dvorsky RW | STL
Blues' Dalibor Dvorsky: Strikes early in win
Dvorsky scored a goal on two shots in Saturday's 5-4 win over the Red Wings.
Dvorsky snapped a six-game point drought with the tally, which was his first goal since Oct. 3. The 21-year-old scored in consecutive games to begin the season, but that hot start fizzled out quickly. He's at four points, 21 shots on net, 11 hits and four PIM over 14 appearances in a third-line role.

Pavel Buchnevich LW | STL
Blues' Pavel Buchnevich: Deposits goal in win
Buchnevich scored a goal in Saturday's 5-4 win over the Red Wings.
Buchnevich's offense remains a bit sparse through one month of the season. He's scored twice over his last five games, adding seven shots on net in that span. Buchnevich has three goals, four assists, 20 shots on net and a minus-1 rating across 13 appearances. The versatile forward remains in a power-play role that makes him a viable source of depth scoring in fantasy, but there are likely hotter hands to roster for managers chasing an upgrade.
-
Ryan Greene C | CHI
Blackhawks' Ryan Greene: Tickles twine Saturday
Greene scored a goal on two shots in Saturday's 5-4 overtime loss to the Bruins.
Greene has a pair of goals over his last four games. The 23-year-old forward is filling a bottom-six role this season, though his presence on the penalty kill should help him stay in the lineup. He's up to four points, 13 shots on net, six hits, five blocked shots, four PIM and a plus-1 rating across 14 appearances. Greene won't need to be rostered in fantasy unless he finds his way into the top six.

Mason Lohrei D | BOS
Bruins' Mason Lohrei: Sparks comeback Saturday
Lohrei scored a goal in Saturday's 5-4 overtime win over the Blackhawks.
Lohrei snapped a seven-game point drought with the tally. He answered the Blackhawks' fourth goal less than a minute later during the third period, sparking the Bruins' comeback. Lohrei has three goals, three assists, 14 shots on net, 13 blocked shots and a plus-3 rating over 15 appearances this season. He's holding onto a third-pairing role for now, but he could get scratched if he goes through any additional slumps, especially since the Bruins are rostering eight blueliners currently.

Casey Mittelstadt C | BOS
Bruins' Casey Mittelstadt: Puts away goal Saturday
Mittelstadt scored a goal on three shots in Saturday's 5-4 overtime win over the Blackhawks.
Mittelstadt continues to be a decent source of offense in a middle-six role. He has three goals and three helpers over his last six outings. For the season, the 27-year-old forward is up to five goals, four assists, 22 shots on net, seven blocked shots, six hits and a plus-8 rating through 15 appearances.

Morgan Geekie C | BOS
Bruins' Morgan Geekie: Finds twine in overtime win
Geekie scored a goal on three shots, doled out three hits and added two PIM in Saturday's 5-4 overtime win over the Blackhawks.
Geekie ended a nine-game goal drought with his tally Saturday. He had five assists during that stretch. The bill looks to be coming due for his last two seasons of incredible efficiency. Geekie is at two goals, eight assists, 20 shots on net, 24 hits and a plus-3 rating across 15 appearances. He's shooting 10.0 percent so far, a reasonable mark but nowhere near his 21.5 percent mark from the 2025-26 regular season. Coupled with a significant drop in shot volume, it's understandable why Geekie's scoring pace has plummeted.
