  • Kraken's Brandon Montour: Deemed game-time decision

Montour (lower body) is expected to be a game-time decision for Tuesday's home clash against the Red Wings, per Alison Lukan of the Kraken Hockey Network.

Montour missed Saturday's clash against his former team with the lower-body injury he suffered in Thursday's game against the Lightning. Prior to the injury, Montour posted an excellent start to the 2026-27 with five assists, 13 shots on net, seven hits and 13 blocked shots across eight appearances. If he's ultimately kept out of the lineup Tuesday, Cale Fleury would likely suit up in his spot once again.

  • Blue Jackets' Ivan Provorov: Remains week-to-week

Provorov (lower body) is expected to remain sidelined on injured reserve on a week-to-week basis, per Mark Scheig of The Hockey Writers.

Provorov has been sidelined since the late portions of training camp with a lower-body injury, which has caused him to miss all of the 2026-27 season thus far. He's expected to remain out for at least another week, but it wouldn't be surprising to see him kept out of the lineup until early November, given that his injury timeline hasn't improved since the start of the regular season. Provorov will be relevant in deep fantasy leagues upon his return after posting 31 points, 158 shots on net and 134 blocked shots across 82 regular-season games in the 2025-26 campaign.

  • Radko Gudas D | FLA

Panthers' Radko Gudas: Ready to rock

Gudas (undisclosed) will return to the lineup against Ottawa on Wednesday, per Jameson Olive of the Panthers' official site.

Following a three-game absence with an undisclosed injury, Gudas will return to a third-pairing role alongside Dmitry Kulikov against the Senators. The 36-year-old Gudas hasn't contributed a point in six appearances this season, but he has earned three shots on net, 11 blocked shots and 13 hits.

  • Esa Lindell D | DAL

Stars' Esa Lindell: Expected to miss over a week

Lindell (lower body) has been ruled out for Tuesday's road clash against the Bruins and is expected to miss roughly one week, per Stars radio analyst Bruce LeVine.

Lindell suffered the lower-body injury in Saturday's 1-0 win over the Blackhawks while blocking a shot. The 32-year-old blueliner has thrived in a shut-down role to begin the new season, where he's posted a plus-4 rating, four shots on net, five hits and 18 blocked shots across eight appearances. He's currently slated to miss three or four games given the injury update from head coach Glen Gulutzan. His status will be heavily monitored in a week's time.

  • Matt Roy D | WAS

Capitals' Matt Roy: Back in action Tuesday

Roy is expected to suit up for Tuesday's home clash against the Kings, per Sammi Silber of The Hockey News.

Roy is slated to re-join the Capitals top defensive pair alongside Jakob Chychrun for Tuesday's clash after the former missed the last six games with a lower-body injury. The 31-year-old Roy should help strengthen the team's performance behind the blue line, as he recorded five hits and five blocked shots across the two games he appeared in at the start of the 2026-27 campaign. He's not a player who should fly off the waiver wire in standard leagues, but he's a strong option to consider rostering in deep leagues that value banger stats.

  • Penguins' Erik Karlsson: Records two power-play points

Karlsson scored a power-play goal on one shot and added a power-play assist in Monday's 5-4 loss to the Mammoth.

Karlsson opened the scoring just 1:11 into the contest, registering his first goal of the season while extending his strong playmaking start. The veteran defenseman has already accumulated 10 assists through 10 games, and his 27:40 of ice time Monday reinforced his substantial role on Pittsburgh's blue line. Although his shot volume was limited, his offensive responsibilities and power-play involvement provide a high fantasy ceiling among defensemen. He has 11 points in his first 10 outings this season.

  • Penguins' Samuel Girard: Slated to miss Monday's game

Girard (undisclosed) is not expected to play Monday in Utah.

Girard skated on the second pairing during Monday's morning skate, which signals that he shouldn't be out of the lineup for too much longer. The left-shot blueliner was unable to finish Saturday's game in Vegas due to his undisclosed injury. Ilya Solovyov is set to make his season debut Monday because of Girard being sidelined.

  • John Marino D | UTA

Mammoth's John Marino: Dealing with UBI

Marino is not an option for Monday's home matchup against Pittsburgh due to an upper-body injury and is considered day-to-day.

Marino saw his usual allotment of ice time Saturday against the Oilers, so it's unclear when exactly he picked up the injury. Nick DeSimone will make his 2026-27 debut as a result of Marino's absence. The 29-year-old Marino will have a few days to attempt to be ready for Thursday's game in Seattle.

  • Penguins' Samuel Girard: Game-time call versus Utah

Girard (undisclosed) will be a game-time decision for Monday's matchup with the Mammoth, Josh Getzoff of SportsNet Pittsburgh reports.

Girard skated in his usual defensive pairing with Kaedan Korczak during the game-day skate, which is a strong indicator that Girard will be back in action Monday. If for some reason Girard can't give it a go, Ilya Solovyov figures to step into the lineup in his stead.

  • Senators' Jake Sanderson: Slated to return Wednesday

Sanderson (lower body) is slated to return for Wednesday's game against the Panthers, Alex Adams of the Coming In Hot Podcast reports.

Sanderson has missed the last eight games after sustaining a lower-body injury during the Senators' Opening Night matchup against the Maple Leafs on Oct. 3. However, he's been trending in the right direction recently and is now believed to be ready to return to game action after skating with the top defensive pairing during Monday's practice session while also running the top power-play unit. Sanderson's return will give Ottawa a boost since Thomas Chabot (upper body) is expected to miss 1-2 weeks.
