  • Kraken's Will Reynolds: Named to Team of the Week

Reynolds was named to the QMJHL Team of the Week on Monday.

Reynolds has started the year fairly well with seven points over 11 games. He had two assists in four contests over the previous week to earn the league honors. The 19-year-old defenseman is in his fourth campaign of junior hockey and has yet to sign an entry-level deal, so he could be eyeing a move to the NCAA to further his development in 2027-28.

  • Penguins' Spencer Stastney: Gets first point of season

Stastney notched an assist in Monday's 5-4 loss to the Mammoth.

Stastney was scratched for the Oilers' first four games of the season before getting dealt to the Penguins. He's now in a top-four role with his new team, though the 26-year-old has middling scoring potential even while playing in a prominent spot in the lineup. Stastney produced 10 points over 66 regular-season outings between Edmonton and Nashville in 2025-26.

  • Penguins' Declan Carlile: Pots goal in loss

Carlile scored a goal on two shots and went minus-2 in Monday's 5-4 loss to the Mammoth.

Carlile snapped a six-game skid with the tally. He had opened the season on a three-game point streak. Carlile is seeing top-four minutes at even strength, but he's unlikely to be the Penguins' leader on offense from the blue line. He has three goals, two assists, 15 shots on net, 20 blocked shots, 11 PIM, eight hits and a minus-4 rating through 10 appearances this season.

  • Canadiens' Mike Matheson: Not slated to play Tuesday

Matheson (lower body) isn't expected to play against San Jose on Tuesday, per Patrick Guillet of DansLesCoulisses.com.

Matheson remains day-to-day and is poised to miss his fourth straight game, but he was present for Tuesday's morning skate with his teammates. He has contributed one assist, nine shots on net, 10 blocked shots and two hits in five appearances this season.

  • Nate Schmidt D | UTA

Mammoth's Nate Schmidt: One of each in Monday's win

Schmidt scored a goal, added an assist, doled out two hits and went plus-2 in Monday's 5-4 win over the Penguins.

Schmidt has filled a top-four role for much of the season, though he's not seeing more than traces of power-play time. The 35-year-old defenseman hadn't gotten on the scoresheet since he had an assist Opening Night versus the Blackhawks. He's now at three points, 12 shots, 15 hits, nine blocked shots and a plus-2 rating through 10 appearances on the year.

  • Nick Jensen D | ANA

Ducks' Nick Jensen: Scores in season debut

Jensen scored a goal, blocked four shots and added two PIM in Monday's 5-2 loss to the Rangers.

The Ducks have often leaned on their younger blueliners to start the season, but Jensen drew into the lineup on the first half of a back-to-back. He replaced Drew Helleson on the third pairing. Jensen has plenty of experience as a bottom-four blueliner who can chip in some blocks and depth scoring. It's too soon to tell if he'll carve out steady playing time, and that uncertainty makes him a poor option in fantasy.

  • Rangers' Braden Schneider: Nabs helper in win

Schneider logged an assist and two shots on goal in Monday's 5-2 win over the Ducks.

This was Schneider's second helper over 11 games this season. The 25-year-old defenseman has primarily worked on the third pairing and is not often involved on the power play, giving him limited scoring potential. Schneider has added 16 shots on net, 24 hits, 14 blocked shots, six PIM and a plus-3 rating. He appears to be fairly safe in the lineup as long as his defensive work remains steady, as Scott Morrow has yet to draw into the lineup this season.

  • Sean Durzi D | NYR

Rangers' Sean Durzi: Cashes in early

Durzi scored a goal, blocked four shots and went plus-3 in Monday's 5-2 win over the Ducks.

Durzi opened the scoring just 1:18 into the game to set the tone. The 27-year-old defenseman is doing fine in a top-four role this season, and he's also worked on the second power-play unit. He has four points (one on the power play), six shots on net, 18 blocked shots, 13 PIM and a plus-2 rating through 11 appearances.

  • Kraken's Brandon Montour: Deemed game-time decision

Montour (lower body) is expected to be a game-time decision for Tuesday's home clash against the Red Wings, per Alison Lukan of the Kraken Hockey Network.

Montour missed Saturday's clash against his former team with the lower-body injury he suffered in Thursday's game against the Lightning. Prior to the injury, Montour posted an excellent start to the 2026-27 with five assists, 13 shots on net, seven hits and 13 blocked shots across eight appearances. If he's ultimately kept out of the lineup Tuesday, Cale Fleury would likely suit up in his spot once again.

  • Blue Jackets' Ivan Provorov: Remains week-to-week

Provorov (lower body) is expected to remain sidelined on injured reserve on a week-to-week basis, per Mark Scheig of The Hockey Writers.

Provorov has been sidelined since the late portions of training camp with a lower-body injury, which has caused him to miss all of the 2026-27 season thus far. He's expected to remain out for at least another week, but it wouldn't be surprising to see him kept out of the lineup until early November, given that his injury timeline hasn't improved since the start of the regular season. Provorov will be relevant in deep fantasy leagues upon his return after posting 31 points, 158 shots on net and 134 blocked shots across 82 regular-season games in the 2025-26 campaign.
