  • Predators' Mavrik Bourque: Traded to Nashville

Bourque and Ilya Lyubushkin were traded to the Predators from the Stars on Wednesday in exchange for a 2027 second-round pick and a 2028 third-round pick, Pierre LeBrun of TSN reports.

After making 73 regular-season appearances for Dallas in 2024-25, Bourque appeared in every regular-season game for the Stars last year, racking up 20 goals, 21 assists, 78 hits, 22 PIM and 21 blocked shots while averaging 15:29 of ice time. He carved out some time on the power play with the Stars and will attempt to continue his development with a change of scenery ahead of the 2026-27 campaign.

  • Nick Cousins C | OTT

Senators' Nick Cousins: Re-ups with Ottawa

Cousins signed a two-year, $3.175 million contract with the Senators on Tuesday, per PuckPedia.

Cousins will continue to bring the physicality and agitation in a bottom-six role. The 32-year-old had 23 points, 92 PIM and 169 hits over 81 regular-season outings in 2025-26. He also shot 11.4 percent, the second-highest mark of his career, so he may experience some regression in 2026-27.

  • Thomas Bordeleau: Not tendered QO

The Blues did not extend a qualifying offer to Bordeleau on Monday, per PuckPedia.

Bordeleau will now be an unrestricted free agent. The 24-year-old suited up in a total of 60 regular-season games between AHL Utica and Springfield in 2025-26, compiling nine goals, 12 helpers and a minus-20 rating. Bordeleau has 44 games of NHL experience, all with the Sharks.

  • Wilmer Skoog C | DET

    Wilmer Skoog: Doesn't receive QO

The Panthers did not present a qualifying offer to Skoog on Monday, per Jordan McPherson of the Miami Herald.

Skoog is now set to test the free-agent market Wednesday. The Swedish forward made his NHL debut with Florida this past season, picking up two helpers over three games. Skoog also had 18 goals, 37 points and a plus-12 rating across 61 regular-season games with AHL Charlotte in 2025-26. Those are relatively solid numbers for a player who was never drafted by an NHL team, so Skoog should be able to secure at least a two-way contract when free agency kicks off Wednesday.

  • Ivan Ivan C | BOS

Bruins' Ivan Ivan: Inks two-way deal

Ivan signed a one-year, two-way contract with the Bruins on Monday.

It did not take long for Ivan to come to terms on a contract agreement with his new club, as the forward was brought in from Colorado in exchange for Fabian Lysell on Saturday. Ivan will be a solid organizational depth piece for Boston, but he could see time with the Bruins if injuries arise or if he forces the team's hand with strong play in the minors.

  • Massimo Rizzo: Going to free agency

The Rangers chose not to extend a qualifying offer to Rizzo on Monday, per Mollie Walker of the New York Post.

Rizzo played in both the AHL and ECHL in 2025-26. The seventh-round pick by Carolina in 2020 has never appeared in an NHL game, so if he signs with a new organization when free agency opens, Rizzo will almost certainly have to settle for a two-way deal.

  • Brendan Brisson: Set to be UFA

Brisson was not tendered a qualifying offer from the Rangers on Monday, Mollie Walker of the New York Post reports.

Brisson spent the bulk of his time with AHL Hartford in 2025-26, generating 19 goals and 37 points across 66 outings. The 2020 first-round selection (No. 29 overall) also contributed one assist over three games with the Rangers last season. Considering that Brisson was a relatively high draft pick, he should have no problem finding a new team to sign with July 1, even if it's a two-way deal.

  • Jan Mysak C | ANA

Jan Mysak: Slated to become free agent

Mysak didn't receive a qualifying offer from the Ducks, and he'll become an unrestricted free agent Wednesday.

Mysak signed a contract with HV71 of the SHL on June 16. He spent the past four seasons in the AHL, most recently recording 10 goals, 13 assists and 31 PIM across 56 regular-season appearances with San Diego in 2025-26. By not extending a qualifying offer, the Ducks relinquished any signing rights to Mysak should he come back to North America in the future.

  • Cam Thiesing: Not qualified

Thiesing did not get a qualifying offer from the Islanders on Monday, Andrew Gross of Newsday reports.

Thiesing notched nine goals, 17 points and a plus-4 rating across 63 regular-season games with AHL Bridgeport in 2025-26. Thiesing, who has never made his NHL debut, will now seek out a new opportunity when free agency opens Wednesday.

  • John Beecher C | FLA

John Beecher: Set for free agency

Beecher didn't receive a qualifying offer from Calgary on Monday, Pat Steinberg of Sportsnet 960 The Fan reports.

Beecher will be eligible for unrestricted free agency Wednesday. He registered three goals, seven points, 37 shots on net, 31 blocked shots and 23 hits across 35 regular-season appearances between Calgary and Boston in 2025-26.
