  • Bruins' Morgan Geekie: Finds twine in overtime win

Geekie scored a goal on three shots, doled out three hits and added two PIM in Saturday's 5-4 overtime win over the Blackhawks.

Geekie ended a nine-game goal drought with his tally Saturday. He had five assists during that stretch. The bill looks to be coming due for his last two seasons of incredible efficiency. Geekie is at two goals, eight assists, 20 shots on net, 24 hits and a plus-3 rating across 15 appearances. He's shooting 10.0 percent so far, a reasonable mark but nowhere near his 21.5 percent mark from the 2025-26 regular season. Coupled with a significant drop in shot volume, it's understandable why Geekie's scoring pace has plummeted.

  • Bruins' Elias Lindholm: Nets game-winner in overtime

Lindholm scored the game-winning goal, took two shots on net, added two hits and went plus-2 in Saturday's 5-4 overtime win over the Blackhawks.

Lindholm's tally helped Boston complete the comeback for an overtime win. The 31-year-old center has two goals and three helpers over his last five contests. For the season, he's produced five tallies, seven assists, 26 shots on net, 12 hits and a plus-6 rating through 15 appearances. Lindholm continues to work on the third line at even strength, but his power-play role has his overall usage in line with a top-six forward.

  • Flames' Martin Pospisil: Lights lamp in loss

Pospisil scored a goal on two shots and added six hits in Saturday's 5-2 loss to the Avalanche.

Pospisil has two goals and two assists over his last four games. The 26-year-old is getting some extra responsibility on the third line as well as on the penalty kill this season. He's done fairly well so far on a low-scoring team, earning three goals, three helpers, 24 shots on net, 66 hits, 10 PIM and a minus-5 rating over 14 appearances. Given his prolific physical play, Pospisil makes for a decent option in banger leagues and a passable one-category target in deeper standard formats.

  • Brock Nelson C | COL

Avalanche's Brock Nelson: Pots goal in Saturday's win

Nelson scored a goal on three shots in Saturday's 5-2 win over the Flames.

Nelson had gone six games without a goal, adding just two assists in that span. Despite the sluggish pace on offense recently, he remains in a second-line role. The veteran center now has four goals, five assists, 27 shots on net, 10 blocked shots, six hits and a plus-3 rating through 14 appearances.

  • Avalanche's Nathan MacKinnon: Goal, assist in victory

MacKinnon scored a goal on five shots, added a power-play assist and went plus-3 in Saturday's 5-2 win over the Flames.

MacKinnon has earned three goals and five assists over his four-game point streak. He's logged multiple points in eight of 14 contests this season as he continues to power the Avalanche's offense from the top line. He's up to nine tallies, 15 helpers, 57 shots, 12 PIM and a plus-7 rating through 14 appearances on the year.

  • Martin Necas C | COL

Avalanche's Martin Necas: Picks up pair of points

Necas scored a power-play goal on two shots, added an assist and went plus-4 in Saturday's 5-2 win over the Flames.

Necas has racked up seven points over his last four outings. The 27-year-old is up to seven goals, 11 helpers, 30 shots on net, 12 hits and a plus-11 rating over 14 appearances. Necas has earned just three of his 18 points on the power play as the Avalanche continue to struggle while up a man. If the team improves in that situation, Necas' offense could spike a little higher.

  • Tommy Novak C | PIT

Penguins' Thomas Novak: Two points in Saturday's loss

Novak scored a goal on three shots and added a power-play assist in Saturday's 5-4 loss to the Canadiens.

The helper was the 100th of Novak's NHL career. While Bryan Rust (lower body) is out, Novak has filled in on the top line, which gives him a bit more fantasy value. He hasn't taken full advantage yet, but this outing could be the spark he needs. Through 14 contests, Novak has four goals, six helpers, 22 shots on net, nine blocked shots and an even plus-minus rating. Five of his assists have come with the man advantage.

  • Max Sasson C | VAN

Canucks' Max Sasson: Nets goal, has sights on 20 this year

Sasson scored a goal Saturday in a 4-2 loss to Toronto.

It was his fourth of the season. Sasson has four goals, two assists, 17 shots, 12 blocks, 10 PIM and eight hits. The fourth-liner is heading toward a career high in goals and points, but there isn't enough other category coverage to make a potential 20-goal guy worthy of rostering.

  • Penguins' Sidney Crosby: Makes some history Saturday

Crosby scored a goal on two shots, dished two assists, added two PIM and went plus-3 in Saturday's 5-4 loss to the Canadiens.

The first helper was Crosby's 1,112th in his career, setting the NHL record for most assists with one franchise. He added a late goal to earn the 1,771st point of his career, which has him tied for sixth all-time with Marcel Dionne. Even accounting for a somewhat slow start to the year, Crosby has a reasonably good chance to enter the top five by the end of the season. He needs 28 more points to pass Ron Francis for that position. Through 14 contests this year, Crosby has four goals, six helpers, 27 shots on net, eight hits, six blocked shots, six PIM and a minus-5 rating.

  • Canadiens' Oliver Kapanen: Tallies in win over Penguins

Kapanen scored a goal on two shots, added two PIM and blocked two shots in Saturday's 5-4 win over the Penguins.

The goal was Kapanen's first point of the season. The 23-year-old center has been shuffled around the lineup at times this season -- he worked on the fourth line in this contest. He has picked up 10 shots on net, three hits, three blocked shots, six PIM and a plus-1 rating through seven appearances. Kapanen's spot in the lineup should be safe for as long as Nick Suzuki (upper body) is out of action.
