Connor McDavid C | EDM
Oilers' Connor McDavid: Historic streak grows to 14
McDavid distributed a power-play assist and placed three shots on net in Saturday's 4-0 win over the Islanders.
McDavid continues to make history to begin the 2026-27 campaign, as his record-breaking playmaking streak grew to 14 consecutive games with an assist to open a season. Overall, the 29-year-old superstar is up to 29 assists, 37 points, a plus-18 rating, 36 shots on net and 17 hits over 14 appearances this season. While the century mark is a given for him to reach before the end of the season, barring he stays healthy, McDavid's hot start has him on pace to challenge his career high of 153 points across 82 regular-season outings during the 2022-23 campaign. He's an elite fantasy option in all formats for the foreseeable future.

Leon Draisaitl C | EDM
Oilers' Leon Draisaitl: Bounces back with two helpers
Draisaitl recorded two assists, including one on the power play, and placed two shots on net in Saturday's 4-0 win over the Islanders.
After being blanked on the scoresheet for just the second time this season in Wednesday's clash, Draisaitl got back on the right foot by adding two helpers to Saturday's big win. With his pair of apples, the 31-year-old forward is up to 14 assists, 26 points and 50 shots on net over 14 appearances this season. He trails only his linemate Connor McDavid in points across the entire NHL, proving that Draisaitl is a force to be reckoned with regardless of his placement in the Oilers' lineup. The 13-year NHL veteran should continue to challenge the 100-point mark annually for the foreseeable future. If he can stay healthy across the entire 2026-27 campaign, Draisaitl could flirt with the 120-point mark for the second time in his career.

Jason Dickinson C | EDM
Oilers' Jason Dickinson: Strikes empty-net goal
Dickinson notched an empty-net goal and dished out two hits in Saturday's 4-0 win over the Islanders.
Dickinson found the back of the Islanders' empty net to secure his first goal of the 2026-27 campaign. Across five contests this season, the 31-year-old center is up to three points, a plus-2 rating, five shots on net, nine hits and four blocked shots. Dickinson has tallied a point in each of his two appearances since returning from an undisclosed injury. While injuries have kept him out of the lineup for a decent chunk of the last three seasons, he's displayed promising two-way value as a member of the Oilers' third line when healthy this season. He's best left on waivers for the time being, but he could work his way onto the fantasy radar if his current point streak continues to build.

Ryan Nugent-Hopkins C | EDM
Oilers' Ryan Nugent-Hopkins: Deposits two goals in win
Nugent-Hopkins tallied two goals, including one on the power-play, placed two shots on net and served two PIM in Saturday's 4-0 win over the Islanders.
Nugent-Hopkins' Halloween afternoon was much more of a treat than a trick, as he recorded his first multi-goal game of the 2026-27 campaign. Both of his tallies came in the second period, with the latter of his pair of goals being on the power play. Overall, the 33-year-old center is up to three goals, seven points and 14 shots on net across five outings this season. After a few lackluster seasons since his 104-point outburst during the 2022-23 campaign, Nugent-Hopkins is on pace to get back to his previous high-level form. Since returning from his lower-body injury, he's recorded three multi-point games. Nugent-Hopkins is an excellent waiver-wire add in all point-based fantasy formats given his hot start and placement on the Oilers' top power-play unit.

Adam Edstrom C | NSH
Predators' Adam Edstrom: Third in NHL in hits
Edstrom scored a goal on two shots in Saturday's 5-4 shootout win over the Lightning. He also has four hits.

The forward has five goals and one assist in 13 games this season, but his notable achievement is his 63 hits -- that puts him in a tie for third overall in the NHL. Edstrom is a banger-league play and those goals give him a big boost -- for now, he's more than a pylon in those leagues.
