Connor McDavid C | EDM
Oilers' Connor McDavid: Sets up three goals Tuesday
McDavid registered three power-play assists and four shots in Tuesday's 4-3 overtime win over the Wild.
McDavid extended his season-opening point streak to nine games, reaching 26 points with six goals and 20 assists. The Edmonton captain assisted on both of Leon Draisaitl's goals before setting up Evan Bouchard's overtime winner, continuing his exceptional playmaking form. His production has been remarkably consistent, and his central role in one of the league's most dangerous power-play attacks makes him an elite fantasy asset with virtually unmatched offensive upside. He's averaging 2.88 points per game in a blistering start to the 2026-27 campaign.

Leon Draisaitl C | EDM
Oilers' Leon Draisaitl: Records two power-play goals
Draisaitl scored two power-play goals on four shots in Tuesday's 4-3 overtime win over the Wild.
Draisaitl scored twice in a span of 1:06 across the first intermission, bringing his season total to eight goals. The German center has scored five times over his last four appearances, highlighting his ability to produce goals in bunches, and he has cracked the scoresheet in all but one of his nine appearances to date. His continued partnership with Connor McDavid on Edmonton's top power-play unit remains a significant fantasy advantage, particularly given the Oilers' success in those situations. He has seven points (five goals, two assists) during his ongoing four-game point streak.

Cole Perfetti C | WPG
Jets' Cole Perfetti: Tallies another goal Tuesday
Perfetti potted a goal, fired five shots on net and dished out two hits in Tuesday's 2-1 loss to St. Louis.
Perfetti was the lone bright spot in Winnipeg's offense Tuesday, as he struck the back of the net just 32 seconds into the third period to tie the game at one apiece. The 24-year-old winger has shined to start the 2026-27 season, posting six goals, nine points, 26 shots on net and 14 hits across nine games thus far. He's currently playing the largest role of his six-year NHL career, as he's averaging nearly three minutes of ice time more than he played per game a year ago. Even if his point-per-game pace starts to fade, Perfetti is poised to set a new career high in points if he continues to play on the Jets' top line. He's an excellent waiver-wire pickup in standard leagues given his all-around play style and hot start offensively.

Matthew Poitras C | BOS
Bruins' Matthew Poitras: Extends point streak Tuesday
Poitras scored a goal on two shots in Tuesday's 3-2 overtime loss to the Stars.
Poitras opened the scoring just 2:09 into the contest, bringing his season total to four goals but also extending his ongoing point streak to four contests (three goals, one assist). The young center missed the first two games of the season due to a lower-body injury but has five points through seven appearances so far, an encouraging rate of production given his limited offensive responsibilities and bottom-six role. His recent scoring makes him worth monitoring in deeper formats, but since he's only averaging 10:28 TOI per game, his fantasy ceiling remains limited even if his numbers indicate otherwise.

Scott Laughton C | LA
Kings' Scott Laughton: Strikes empty-net goal
Laughton recorded an empty-net goal, put three shots on net, served two PIM and dished out four hits in Tuesday's 5-2 win over the Capitals.
Laughton delivered the final blow in Tuesday's matchup, tallying an empty-net goal to help the Kings seal their first win of the 2026-27 season. The 32-year-old's twine finder was his first of the season, and he now has two points, 13 shots on net, 20 hits and seven blocked shots across seven appearances. Laughton has posted both of his points over the past three games, which is a sign that he's settling into his bottom-six center role in his first full year with Los Angeles. However, he remains off the fantasy radar outside of deep leagues that value banger stats.

Nick Suzuki C | MON
Canadiens' Nick Suzuki: Two points against San Jose
Suzuki picked up a goal on four shots on net and added an assist, a blocked shot and a plus-3 rating in Tuesday's 4-3 overtime loss to the Sharks.
Montreal's top line of Suzuki, Cole Caufield and Juraj Slafkovsky accounted for all the team's scoring and wasn't on the ice for either of San Jose's even-strength tallies. Suzuki has a tidy four-game point streak going, and through nine contests to begin the season he's delivered five goals and 12 points as he looks to repeat or even exceed his 101-point campaign from 2025-26.

Michael Misa C | SJ
Sharks' Michael Misa: Finds twine for first time this season
Misa scored his first goal of the season in Tuesday's 4-3 overtime win over the Canadiens.
The 19-year-old center converted a fantastic feed past two defenders from Kiefer Sherwood to begin a third-period rally from a 3-1 deficit. Misa remains overshadowed in the San Jose offense by Macklin Celebrini, but he figures to take a step forward with his production in his first full NHL season while working on the second line and second power-play unit. Through 10 games in 2026-27, Misa has four points, 10 shots on net, five hits and a minus-2 rating.

Macklin Celebrini C | SJ
Sharks' Macklin Celebrini: Three points including OT winner
Celebrini scored two goals, one on an overtime power play, and added a power-play assist in Tuesday's 4-3 win over the Canadiens.
The 20-year-old superstar recorded his second three-point performance in the last three games, this one capped by his first game-winning goal of the season. Celebrini is on a point-a-game pace just from his power-play contributions alone, and through eight contests he's racked up five goals and 14 points, including two goals and six assists with the man advantage.

Leo Carlsson C | ANA
Ducks' Leo Carlsson: Two helpers in Tuesday's loss
Carlsson picked up two assists while adding two shots on net and a plus-1 rating in Tuesday's 3-2 loss to the Islanders.
The Ducks' $18 million man helped set up tallies by Frank Vatrano late in the first period and Alex Killorn late in the third, accounting for all of the team's offense on the night. Carlsson has had a strong start to his fourth NHL season, producing two goals and 11 points in nine games -- including one goal and six assists on the power play.

Jesper Boqvist C | NJ
Devils' Jesper Boqvist: Fills empty cage
Boqvist scored an empty-net goal in Tuesday's 4-3 win over the Avalanche.
Boqvist's insurance tally ended up being the game-winner as the Avalanche made a late push that fell short. Boqvist has three goals, one assist, 13 shots on net, five hits and a plus-2 rating across seven appearances this season. He's primarily playing in a fourth-line role, though competition for playing time will be tougher after Connor Brown (lower body) made his season debut Tuesday. Amadeus Lombardi was the healthy scratch up front in this contest, but Boqvist could occasionally find himself in the press box as well.
